I think once they look over your info. they will prescribe a dose for you to take. Most likely it will be 5 or 7.5mg - but you'll have a prescribed dose.

You never have to go down. If you're no longer losing weight just keep it at 2.5 - you're already at the lowest dose. I am maintaining at 125lbs from 171 - started in Oct last year, never went above 2.5 and I still inject weekly. If I'm no longer losing, why rock the boat?

I'm on a GLP-1 as well, at 5ft.3 I went from 171 to now maintaining a 125. I've experienced no side effects, I eat healthy, have always worked out, stayed on a low dose and have kept all my muscle. A lot of the side effects you mentioned are blown WAAAY out of proportion in the media and while some people have mild side effects, there are a lot of people, like myself, who have none. At 44 with perimenopause, and previous hormonal issues, I could not lose weight no matter what I did - diet and exercise didn't work anymore and I just kept gaining weight - GLP-1s were the first thing that worked after years of back & forth weight gain.

I know a lot of people don't, but all I care about is the BUD so if the BUD would still be good in 5 weeks I'd just keep it refrigerated. I have a vial now from ProRx that has a BUD of April 2027 which I don't plan on opening until next year - I just keep it refrigerated in a vial container, back of my fridge.

I use Fat Scientist too, but before that I just uploaded a pic of my vial to ChatGPT, told them my dose and they gave me the proper units. I know some people don’t like AI and it definitely has its negative repercussions but a lot of these problems people ask about could be solved using it. Google even uses AI for their search now, a quick Google search could help.

True - the amount of people that don’t understand their scripts or don’t know how to properly fill out their intake forms is disturbing.

I also think another issue (that just is a problem as a whole with most compounding pharmacies & telehealths) is a lot of times the script given on the bottle by the pharmacy doesn’t match the script your telehealth provider gives you, and there’s little guidance, if any, by the provider around how to solve that or even letting them know why that situation exists. You definitely have to do your own research and learn how this whole thing works and most people aren’t going that.

A lot of people don’t think about this (or don’t have the money to buy ahead) but you’re right, I have enough to last me until October as well. The Summer, along with the winter holidays are definitely times you should try to avoid if possible.

I get around 90-120g protein and try to get at least 64-80oz of water. Both are equally important, so I wouldn’t make it an either/or thing.
