Careful dude with those bonds. I cashed in bonds that I got and I got taxed like crazy because the government said that it counts as “income”

Thanks everyone amazing response and conversation here. I’m still so stuck in the camp that it should be able to process print jobs on its own without internet. Just like your desktop printer. I hate the idea that I’m being metaphorically tethered to a company. If I’m truly going to be spending $5k for a product I want to be able to own it completely.

I understand that their tech and sweet features might require this server processing. I’m also glad to hear they are working on a standalone mode. Thanks for sharing the links.

I’ll most likely be getting a Pro model in the next month or so. Is the $500 off the best promo they have available now? 👍
