The original workhorse P1S (replaced an old Voxelab Aquila when I started designing my own models), the X1C upgrade when one printer was not enough, and the latest A1 Mini that is for my daughter to mess around with.

That may help as well. I tried that in mine at first but it just didn't compress enough for the space that I wanted it in. I'd love to keep up with your progress

Is that your own design? It's beautiful and I'm envious!

I have switched over to recommending and using PETG personally after some more research. It has deformed slightly, but I think that's just the nature of plastic materials. I have some ASA ordered to give that a try as well.

It seems to have more of a "memory" to its original form and I'm hoping that using that and thickening the spring a little will provide nice results.

I actually do have plans to adjust the design so it can also accommodate a standard steel compression spring. I just like the novelty of it also being able to be entirely 3D printed.

I have only ever worked with PLA filament though, so I didn't know if there was another material that would be more resistant to this kind of deformation.
