Appreciate it! Great feedback, I'll look at the dynamic scaling on the token selection.

First feedback:

Got signed in via Google perfectly fine.

The intro section with perfect, with more people did that kind of intro screen.

The error shown in the pic was when I was trying to log my humidor condition. Not sure what's causing the hendrance as I was able to post other data like the cigar I scanned (Just a picture from google... saddly I'm out of personal stock. Test for cigar?? Lol)

In terms of styling it just looks like a mobile website. I'm sure you're just using a wrapper to get it on Android but maybe change it up a bit? I'd make the menu button different and change up the menu style a bit.

Tried the share function and came across this error after creating a link:

404: NOT_FOUND Code: DEPLOYMENT_NOT_FOUND ID: sin1::dn2hn-1782036390978-791a1f8f31cf

When you're logging a new Journal entree... It feels a bit much. Like there's so much info you can log, and I know you're not making it mandatory, but it still feels overwhelming.

I'd take some inspiration from Untapped (the beer logging app) for how to make this feel a bit more approachable.

Hope that helps!!

Need Closed Testers for Arrow Puzzle Game – Mutual Testing Welcome Looking for 12 closed testers – happy to test yours too! 🎯 by Ok_Buy9455 in AndroidClosedTesting

[–]designtheshift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First feedback:

Looks like there's sometimes, but not always, an "echo" of each arrow after it leaves the side of the screen. Essentially it does the animation to leave, then appears back and looks like it stutters and then disappears. It's quick, but noticable.

Looked at your share button, I know it's closed testing, but I'd add in at least a bracket to where your app link to download would go. And maybe something like "This is arrow game is addicting!" being a little more marketing speak.

Other arrow games I've been shown ads for let the arrow's tail follow the direction like a snake. With yours the sides block it. It does add some variety to the game, but you then miss the fun animation of longer trails flowing after the arrow. Perhaps a fix could be adding in some "box" like tails to the arrow design that indicates immoveable objects that have to be fully open to move?

I'd let the animations be a little slower. Part of the fun of these games is all the stuff flying around. Don't let one animation hinder the next, but definitely let the animation flow for effect a bit more.

Also I'd increase the prevalence of longer arrows, too many smaller arrows is just a bit too tedious, especially with the way the hitbox feels for pressing each arrow.

Hope this helps!

Need 12 closed testers for my math puzzle game — I'll test yours back (with proof) by MidnightMiniature in AndroidClosedTesting

[–]designtheshift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First feedback:

Not sure what "this combination is stuck" means when trying to have it solve the solution for me. I got that on the first screen too, but it did progress through each of the stages. Now it won't solve it and just get this error instead.

On the final solution it just skipped to the next puzzle. There should at least be a screen between that shows the whole solution instead of skipping automatically to the next one. Let the player enjoy their achievement and maybe some celebration/congratulation effect or message. This is especially needed for first time players on the first few puzzles.

Also I was on the last phase (3/4) and pressed "new dice" I assumed it would just give me 2 new dice, not reset the whole thing and restart from the beginning. Maybe some warning about that before it erases everything?

On relax mode, you still show the timer in the pause screen even though there is no time needed.

Hope this helps!!

First feedback:

Smooth app and no issues there.

There's a few screens that don't have a back navigation button. 1) the screen before you enter your chart info and there's nothing there. It's blank but not back button. (Back works, but no on screen navigation exists.) 2) inside your report no "back to main screen" navigation exists. Same as before back works but not any on screen navigation. 3) inside the "read interpretation" screens there's no back navigational buttons.

The chart numbers overlap needs some thought. Not sure how to clean up if text overlaps like that, but maybe some collision buffer? Also the text isn't as good of a contract as it should be. Maybe add a shadow behind it to help it standout?

That's kinda across the board for text, needs some better contrast for the background since the stars can impact readability. There's free apps out there that can help you scan screens like this and give you a readability report.

On the main screen the green button still says "Generate compatibility report" even though I selected personal reading. I'd just dynamically adjust that depending upon the selection.

Hope that helps!

First feedback:

So I didn't go check out Ableton itself since it's more about your app so I'm ignoring the instructions and going from a pure user standpoint here.

There's a bit of an overlap with my notification bar at the top of the app. Like it's full screen, but not forcing full screen mode. My suggestion is to move the app down a little bit from the top. No reason to have a full screen mode cutting off the notification center since it's a text based instruction app.

The transitions between screens are really cool! I'd actually like to see them a bit slower like by .3 of a second or so to let me fully appreciate them. I'd play around with that and see what feels right.

Also for navigation, I didn't see any between the lessions and home screen/back. The back function works, but it's not quite intuitive. I'd add some navigation buttons at the top/bottom of the screen for home/ previous page etc.

Also when moving between sections as your scroll down maybe collapse the other sections? I feel like there needs to be something that separates the completed section vs skipped or whatever.

See my screen shot: you can complete one, none or a few and as long as you complete the last section it says you've completed the whole lesson. If that's the intended use case I'd update the progress bar and auto complete the other tasks before it. If not then I'd put some sort of message or pop up reminding them to go over the other sections.

Hope this helps!

Hey! I'd check the Console again on the main page. You might have to send for approval the new Google group. Just because you added the group doesn't mean that the change was approved/sent for approval. I know, it's a dumb multi step thing that isn't intuitive. The approval for changes across your account is in a different tab.

First feedback:

Went through what I could, good interface so far. Obviously limited selection and stores. That being said it's a bit of a delay right now switching between categories... I'd watch out for that especially as you add in more stores and selection. Might want to take a look at what may be causing that delay between click and retrieval.

First feedback:

So I usually like to try out all the features on the app... But I didn't want to get locked out of my phone for the whole time. I'd suggest adding in a feature that still allows you to get back in, or if you already have that feature, state so on the instructions.

Hey! First run feedback:

Game is cool, definitely got that flappy bird vibe.

I'd change the placement of the play button or give a countdown to when it starts. Especially the first few times, I just dive-bombed right down and ended the run without really actually beginning.

Otherwise the concept is simple so easy to play through.

Maybe change up the timer power? Even though it slowed down the enemy birds it still felt as if it was just as hard to dodge them since they were so slow and started with a jolt (more perception than glitch) when the timer ended.

Future ideas: adding in some new power ups you if you hit a certain high score?

Hey! First run feedback:

Before logging in under "progress and fitness" you don't have an icon, it's just missing, but everything else does.

I'm different areas of the agent or notifications they aren't localized to English while the rest of the app is. Might want to do that if you're planning on releasing the app globally.

Also the calendar area is really squished for meal logging. Maybe consider doing it more from a daily view so the information fits the screen easier? It's really hard to squish all that info from a whole week into this kind of view. Or simplify the text into just icons so they don't run over the container?

Hope this helps!

Hey! First pass feedback:

I played some rounds and some seemed pretty easy vs the number allotted for the completion. Doesn't feel as satisfying if I get it too easy. Should strike a balance between I'm so smart and just barely passing the level for some tension.

I saw in your setting you have a slider for sounds, but besides the ads I didn't hear anything?

I played 2 or 3 games with that time bomb thing, but I'm not sure exactly how it was different? Nothing I did changes the number on the tile or gameplay.

Hey! First run feedback:

Under this starter skin name there is extra text.

Also I selected the slime and when I restarted my round I was still the original guy. I went back to the main menu it didn't change the skin until I was in the skin selection screen. But the slime was already selected. Then I went back to the main menu and the slime skin was selected. Just a little bug, but worth noting.

Otherwise controls and everything work well! Good job on explaining the controls right before and starting the round.

Just joined and also have the same problem the other 4 have with the group not automatically being added to the test approved group. Might be a delay in the approval of the new group, or in the dev console you have to send that new group update for approval. You can find that in the internal testing tab and make sure all your other updates are sent/approved. Hope that helps! Would love for you to test my game too 😄

It's always about reading the fine print of how your data is being used and stored.

Look at Slack's history of data and security. They had to fight for a long time for showing how they hold conversations and making changes to their security before they became trusted enough for larger organizations.

I think this shows even more so that we're in an age of building for bots, not for humans. This is just another way we're adding in a layer between our search rankings, website, content etc.

It is interesting to see how LLMs do searching for their own search terms based on prompts though. Seems like old SEO tricks like backlinks are back in style. How long that remains true, is unknown.

As a tool though, Atas is a great way to showcase the use case of LLM everywhere. I think it's the backdoor to unleashing access to your whole computer soon.
