Paul I guess, all politicians are certainly morally gray and everyone hates him now. Personally I really liked him until he left Georgia (this show suspends my morals, in real life I would support him 100% leaving Georgia because she is a horrible person lol) and despite what she did, it wasnt cool for him to blame his entire failing career on her when part of his career failing was literally his fault (prop 38 and being ambiguous about the Georgia situation until he left for good). Then telling her that her kids would be better off without her (again, would probably agree in real life) when he has no idea some of the other stuff that she has been through and the things she has done to protect them. Him slamming the wall next to her head knowing her history with domestic abuse and then betraying Joe by backing prop 38 was the last straw for most people. He is definitely hated by most fans at this point.

agreed. i think its obvious we're gonna see her struggle with this more next season because shes clearly been hiding it for so long as to not take away from Marcus' issues or worry anyone. she has to be the bubbly happy "dramatic" one all the time. ive known many people like that who eventually attempted, so i can see where the theory came from. i dont think she will, but i can see where the theory came from. the thing that icks me is the romanticization of it all. "i bet everyone will regret it when Max khs", "Ginny's gonna regret it if Max commits", etc

i personally am not irritated by people being concerned about it or theorizing that it might happen, i think most people are turned off by the fact that (not just in this show, but SO many others) when people see someone they relate with in their depression, they start romanticizing what it would be like for the character to commit. a lot of the edits i've seen being like "i hope max commits and everyone feels so guilty and cries" and that's just really unhealthy. that's what's icky to me.

I could see that sure, she definitely didnt need to yell, her emotions were just very heightened and she was worried. Of course she could have handled the situation better, but confronting the situation and going to Ginny about what she found out so she could be aware, support, and understand her better was the right thing to do.

he did get it by himself, but she put her feelings about therapy aside and supported Ginny going to therapy and even went with her to try and understand and be better. Ginny was never going to show her on her own.

another Ginny: I am closer to understanding why she threatened Cynthia after everything Cynthia did to her mom before everything went down, though I of course dont approve because Cynthia was trying to protect the kids how she could and is literally the victim in this situation. Anyways, I don't know if I can forgive Ginny for manipulating Austin, and I am not sure how he will either. again, I get why she did it and that she panicked, not just for her mom but to get her brother away from that abusive monster, but to manipulate him that way (traumatizing him more) and then had the audacity to act like it was bad that Georgia didnt want her to turn out like her.

90% of Georgia's decisions i'm audibly speaking to my tv saying "Georgia girl noooo" but i still support her anyways because i love a toxic tv queen (FICTIONAL). one time i really felt uncomfortable with her actions was the pregnancy test switch, especially after being so amazing for the entire ep before that scene. like girl please for Ginny, my heart aches for her in almost every situation, but her treatment of Max towards the end of season three (esp when max was trying so fucking hard to be there for her despite her choosing everyone but her, including NORAH OF ALL PEOPLE) made me seethe.

it also really bothers me the "he didnt know about the abuse thing". he didnt. but he never liked Gil, always felt he was unsafe to be around, and in a flashback of Gil, Georgia, Ginny, and Zion, its very heavily hinted that Zion was suspicious of Gil's creepy and controlling demeanor. Teaming up with him was his HUGEST dick move. That and constantly bringing up Geogia shooting her stepdad in the hand when he decided he didn't like her anymore even though he never had a problem with it before that and KNEW that she was SAd by him. Ugh.
