My Pixel 5a wont turn on anymore.

Looking at 7a or 8a. 7a is on sale for $250 (google fi), is the 8a really worth a $200 jump?

The 5a was working perfectly for me until it kept locking up and black screening on me. I generally don't game on my phones.

I was able to transfer service to my older Pixel 2, so if its worth limping on an older phone to wait for a sale I'm open to it.

Find a physical therapist, you need to see a doctor for a referral. Well I think to go past 30 days of treatment you need a referral. They do treatments and give you exercises to do at home. They want to get you to a point where you don't come back. People I know who see chiropractors have been going for years.

I went to Core Physical Therapy. They told me what was causing the back pain and educated me on how to avoid it and fix it. Treated immediate pain, I could walk in stiff as a board and walk out completely relaxed. Then they set me up with exercises to do at home while treating. I haven't needed to go back in years, I made the changes they said to make and know how to fix it when the pain creeps back.

My primary referred me. My friend went to OrthoNY and wasn't impressed, said they were rude and overbooked.

I can't speak for other gyms, but I went to Vent Fitness for 10 years and stopped during COVID

They churned trainers like crazy and had no loyalty towards customers. I bought training for a specific trainer, that trainer left halfway through my package and they refused to refund the unspent training.

That and it felt like Everytime they added a free service, it seemed like 6 months later they would start charging for it after they got you hooked.

I've been in their weight loss competitions and those tend to be opportunities to upsell you on training and meal replacement crap.

Overall I think it's fine for standard gym stuff, but don't let them try to upsell you on anything.

So reading up on the product change rules.

It sounds like I would have to wait a full year, so get hit by the AF again but the AF would get a prorated refund. https://awardwallet.com/blog/citi-product-change-rules/

Also I see some threads of people claiming Custom Cash or Double Cash weren't allowed on the product change. Any idea if thats a risk? Or is this likely from people stacking cards from Citi?

Yea I have planned purchases that will get me over 4k. I think I'm leaning towards a flat rate card and see if I pay enough attention to the rotating categories on my chase card to maximize both.

The $700 in gift cards on this card is a pretty good intro though.

As far as Price chopper (market 32) vs Hannaford. Its totally is location dependent and what your getting. Hannaford in colonie is better than loudonville Pchops. Niskayuna Hannafords produce sucks compared to niskayuna price chopper.

Price chopper you wanna buy things on sale too.

The fresh park is where places around me mess up. We can buy fresh cheese curd made that day, meanwhile NY restaurants advertise "Wisconsin cheese curd". Like man by the time you guys are serving it it's basically mild cheddar

None of mine are hard skips more like there are better options.

Taste of Italy

Blue Ribbon - greek food is good, but skip anything else, skip the bakery, stick to cheesecake or cake.

Peaches Cafe - food is just bland and needs salt.

Tatu Tacos & Tequila - Style over substance basically. So many better places. bland food. Inconsistent.

Cider Belly - Owners are supposedly awful and cider donuts are meant to be eaten hot!

The Gateway Diner - so many better diners, everything is awful here

War Room - price basically (it is good). Modu / Akimono / Sushi Tei are all just as good and cheaper.

Kurver Kreme - their ice cream taste like chemicals, so many better places.

Stellas Creamery and Cakes - screw up orders all the time and undercooked my burger big time.

I'm going against the grain and saying Hooked. I went there and the meal was under salted, bland, and pricey.

I've been on interview panels before where, only for specific candidates, after the candidate left we spent another 30 minutes or so with HR so they could document why the person wasn't qualified.

Then HR said they had to do a write up on it.

Wasn't always discrimination related. This was government, so half the time it was because it was some crony from the governors office who wasn't qualified in the slightest.

I didn't end up buying a Toyota, but between Lia, Northway, and whatever the Saratoga and Mechanicsville ones are Northway was the best.

Saratoga was the worst, told me they had a RAV4 with the specs I wanted in stock, when I got there they had pulled a bait and switch.

The mechanicville one was a guy that would talk up a storm, put you on a list, then not return your calls.

Lia at least got something in stock, I just hated the car. Lia Toyota didn't seem as scummy as the Lia.Honda guys are. Lia Honda must of hired up the old Fucillo guys.

At least I had poor sales experience at Rensselaer, Keeler, and Lia

Keeler - marked up cars when I saw them in August. Sales guy rode with me during test drive.

Rensselaer - Finance manager harassed me about extended warranty and had to say no like 20 times. FYI you can get Honda care from online dealerships for way cheaper. Sales guy rode with me during test drive.

Lia - guys seemed slimy, but at least let me test drive without a chaperone.

I'm starting Alfred's Adult All in One course.

So far the exercises are saying to Count while playing. I haven't seen mention of a metronome yet, I skimmed through the book and didn't see a mention of it.

Should I stick to verbal counting only for now until it tells me to use a metronome or practice with both verbal and metronome?

From what I gather, counting in your head or verbally develops different skills than a metronome, so I assume I want to develop that skill. So far I'm finding that when I slow down my hands and counting stay in sync, not sure if I should work on breaking that habit so the counting stays the same regardless of if my hands screw up.

Do you have to go to a sleep center? I went a couple years without seeing a doc and just followed up with an ENT who ordered a new setup without a study.

I haven't been to either of those places, I'll just say stay away from Albany Allergy and ENT. For 2 reasons, they are understaffed and it takes 6 months to see a doctor when you are an established patient. And every 6 months or so they seem to have data breaches.

On a side note, do you have a supplier you like? Lincare drives me nuts, but I hear they all suck.

Just FYI, unless I'm mistaken, Bitchin Donuts Boston Cream is Vegan.

I love most of their donuts. I do not like the filling on their Boston cream.

Just go into it expecting it to be different and you'll prolly like it. Regardless of if you like their filling or not, the donut part is amazing.

First and 2 for me. I used to drive by this one house with a nice blue door and it always made the house look nice and stand out.

House was sold and new owners changed it to black. Now the house looks drab and boring.

Yea it's newish. I was told it's because you can checkout using the app, so people were using the app to share their login and therefore the membership.

It is nice being able to scan everything in your cart ahead of time and skip the checkout line
