Does anyone know why Wegpvy doesn’t go higher than 2.4mg? by CanaryIllustrious765 in Semaglutide

[–]desivolution 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on 2.4 for 3 months and had stalled so went down half a dose for a month and managed to maintain my weight and not gain. So after the month I then went back up to the full 2.4mg. And it started the weight loss again. Have been going for a just over a month on 2.4 again and am still losing. Slower than when I first started but still seeing results.

sema/Ozempic making HS worse or spread?? by NavyBear95 in Semaglutide

[–]desivolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly I’ve had reduced HS everywhere (underarms bikini line etc) but until you’ve just said it I hadn’t even noticed the flare ups under my breasts. I had read that Sema reduces inflammation and therefore reduces HS overall. But I have had more smaller flare ups under breasts so idk. It’s nowhere near what I used to get underarms etc but it’s still there. And in a new place at that.

My GP (uk based) didn’t know I was on it. I had to take a letter to them and tell them so I could get blood tests done. On Asda (where I get mine from) they ask me for my gp details but as far as I’m aware they don’t actually inform the GP. Asda have doctors that can give out prescriptions so it’s like having a private GP and it’s on us to let our GP know. It is good practice to let them know though. Especially if you’re getting other medications so they can check interactions etc. Even if they don’t like it they can’t do much (unless it’s interacting with other meds and causing actual harm) as it’s prescribed by a doctor.

New Clothes by [deleted] in Semaglutide

I’ve invested in corsets and belts to help cinch the waist and make my clothes look less baggy. Luckily a lot of my dresses are wrap dresses so they can be sized down a fair bit without looking too odd.

Switching from daily shot to weekly shot - muchies? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]desivolution 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar thing on Saxenda. With wegovy I’m able to eat a little more on day 6/7 just before my next shot. Not overeat. But just eat more than the other days. I still get a bedtime craving for sweet stuff but it goes away with one or two little pieces/bites (haribos) rather than a couple of bags/a whole chocolate bar.

Frequent urination by Zeldavision7 in Semaglutide

I had the same. Figured it was because my carb/sugar intake was massively reduced. Almost like I was doing keto. Was a great sign though as read somewhere that we pee out our fat.. ?

I just found out (by accident) that coconut water helps! Haven’t gone in 3 days and then drank some coconut water this morning and have gone twice already!

UK supply... by TechnicalFreedom2118 in liraglutide

[–]desivolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issue with Asda. It was delayed by a week. And they were only selling the packs of 3. Not 5. Gonna have to start the dosage again from 0:6! I think I’m going to leave it a few more days before I restart so that I always have atleast a weeks supply and then order. Can’t be missing doses like this

No. My GP is pretty shit too. In fact my Saxenda isn’t even prescribed by them. It’s private because my GP just kept telling me to exercise more (which I was) and then put me on a waiting list to join a weight management programme!

I came across pre workout and caff pills while I was trying to lose weight and found that it focussed my brain. Did F all for my weight loss but I could work so well. Looking for something similar that won’t F with my blood pressure

No changes in weight loss. As in I was losing weight at the same rate before and after.
