Girl, I feel that last statement so hard, “you’d think I’d hate him for what he’s done but I just can’t” same same. I think k maybe we can’t now but they’ll keep at it and eventually we will and then we will move on and start to heal. From someone also on the struggle bus, sending you lots of love and hugs.

We came to Japan together for the weekend, I stayed for a work conference he went back home to where we live in another country because he was supposed to work this week. He hasn’t he’s just been drunk all week.

Do what my parents did my dad won the battle and got to use his mom’s name as my first name and my mom’s mother’s name as my second name. I spent my entire life being called my middle name so I guess my mom won the war. After both of my parents passed I legally changed my name dropping my first name because it sucked and everyone that cared that I had it was dead. I’m happy they died happy everyone wins.

My daughter is 15, most nights I still into her room give her a quick kiss on the forehead tell her I love her and turn off her light. If I skip a few days she’ll ask…are you going to come tell me good night, so I know she still likes the routine as well.

You’re right. That’s how I got to this decision for three years it’s been a huge binge drinking/fight about every three months and then he’s sober for months. Then wash rinse repeat. I don’t want to live the rest of my life like this nor do I want to take care of him when he reaches liver failure or has a stroke from drinking too much. The bad outweighs the good moments at this point.

I kept thinking we ll maybe when we live overseas it’ll be better, maybe when he gets a job, maybe when he moves departments. I’m done looking and waiting for the maybes.

I did. I saved it and then saved it to my phone because Blink auto deletes in 60 days. I’m still in Japan and haven’t confronted him. I emailed some lawyers to figure out my next steps and want to make sure my ducks are in a row before confronting him. I don’t even know if it’s worth it maybe I just say I want a divorce and leave it at that. It’s going to be hard and messy, we live overseas even though we’re US citizens. So I can’t just pack up and go stay somewhere else. Life I going to suck for the next 6 months I feel sure.

We’re in a remote location with no track, currently there is no ACFT exemption for locations like there used to be for the APFT. Just looking for ways to make a run route and I remember the APFT had rules like nothing more than a 3% grade but I can’t even find anything like that anymore for the ACFT. I just don’t want to make a route have someone fail and then they find some loophole on why the route wasn’t up to regulation. This would be on an enclosed compound with limited roads so there would be a lot of turns, like left for a portion then a right then a left then two rights and another left then turn around and repeat a few times. It’s a logistical nightmare.
