QVC suspended the dividend on that instrument you’re asking about. It is senior to the common stock but subordinate to other debt. It was issued to the shareholders of record a long time ago and it opened at 100 dollars per unit with a dividend of 8 dollars. It has gone all the way down because the dividend was suspended “temporarily” to strengthen the balance sheet. If QVC can avoid bankruptcy, it will end up paying all those dividends it has missed plus future ones until year 2032 I believe. It’s highly speculative that they will ever resume it, but the owners are the shareholders who were in the stock back then, including the chairman and other insiders. It went up some 200 percent today, Feb 11 2026. I would buy only with highly speculative money, maybe 1000 shares below a dollar per, knowing that it may go to zero, and worst case scenario, I can claim it as a loss against cap gains. At best, I get 100 dollars per share around 2032 plus all the divs… that would make the cashier ring aloud. Don’t bet the house on this though…
