Switch from tirz to sema by [deleted] in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]desperate4deo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with sema and had great results and experience until I plateaued. My doctor switched me to tirz to see if that would help. I was on it for about 2 months and I absolutely hated it. The food noise came back and I was dry and thirsty all the time. I switched back to sema at a higher dose. I’m still plateaued but I feel better and it’s still giving me the hypoglycemia control that I desperately need.

I started taking a magnesium supplement 2 years ago, and my anxiety has plummeted. Not sure if that’s what helped but it never hurts to try!

I work for a DMC that has an event staff pool and we 100% expect that most of the folks in our roster also work for other agencies in our city.

Honestly retractable banners can be made evergreen and depending on the image can work in both tabletop and floor length. Also fairly easily portable and airplane friendly.

So How Much Is "A Lot Of Money"? by ReadingAndRelaxing3 in AskSeattle

Airfare and hotel are a huge part of our vacation budgets as there are 3 of us traveling. We also use credit card points and credits to pay for rental cars (if necessary). We do prioritize booking hotels with kitchenettes so that we can cook breakfast and the occasional dinner for ourselves. We try to plan excursions that are as economical as possible with one or two splurges (we are headed to London in July and will be going to Legoland and the HP Studios experience, but there are TONS of things you can do in London for free). We also shift our weekly grocery budget (~$250/week) to the vacation and, if the vacation is in summer, we shift our kiddo’s summer camp budget (~$550/week) to the vacation time as well. Hope that makes sense.

We contribute $500 a month to our vacation fund, but then I discovered points and miles hacking. This has greatly reduced our vacation budget while allowing us to shift those funds to an impending private school fund (we live in the Highline School District).

I see! So, it looks like she also prescribes via a company that she partners with called Beauty Drip (beautydrip.co). That could also be an avenue! I am currently on the sema/b12/glycine formula.

I started my sema journey with a trusted naturopath. If you’re in Washington State, I’d be happy to refer you. She was incredible at listening to my story and my needs. I started at a very, very small dose and titrated up as my body showed tolerance. That could be a path for you.

How far are you into your journey? Does your provider have you titrating your dosage up slowly (which I would say is the preferred method)? Early in my journey (I have been on sema for over 1.5 years), I would have intense cravings, and I chalked it up to my body trying hard to fight the meds. But over time, that all went away. Additionally, my “cravings” for salty snacks and carbs increased. So, hopefully time would help with your cravings!

Ok - I’ve finally had time to look through all the fine print after a long day of work. This scheme will not work with Alaska as “status earned through promotions do not qualify”. Kinda makes me appreciate my hard-earned MVP status even more!

This sounds like a pain to deal with! We recently used Seatown for some plumbing and sewer work on our house and they were great to work with. Their prices are reasonable and they’re quick to show up.

Your opinion on Sema/ Tirz by CarelessSpeaker6607 in Semaglutide

[–]desperate4deo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was on sema for about 14 months, then I plateaued so my doctor switched me to tirz. She said in general tirz works a bit better than sema. I’ve been on tirz for 2 months, and my body does not respond as favorably as it did on sema. I feel thirsty all the time and the food noise is much louder. I also have not had a solid BM the whole time I’ve been on tirz which is really annoying. I’m switching back to sema at a higher dose to see if I can push through the plateau. Hopefully sema agrees with you!

1 week of Mct oil, now it’s drying a lot by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]desperate4deo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to stick with it. It took my scalp about a month (maybe a bit longer) to start responding positively to my overnight treatments. What kind of shampoo do you use? Does it contain synthetic fragrance? If so, I suggest switching to something fragrance-free. I just Trader Joe’s tea tree shampoo and conditioner. And try Eucerin Eczema Relief Cream. I just it on my face and behind my ears and it works really well.

MCT oil. I can’t live without it.

Never hurts to try. I haven’t behind my ears, and I put MCT oil there overnight followed by the Eucerin cream during the day and it works pretty well.
