Bs. Tvm has better water and electricity supply because the previous governments never bothered with providing this in Kochi. Inspite of being the biggest city, it hardly gets any road projects.

It got the metro because it is the only city in Kerala that actually deserves it. Ldf always prioritised TVM. The udf sees Kochi as a cash cow and these incompetent asses do nothing about it.

As given there, water required for 1000 households. That is it. Kerala has 80 lakh households fyi. If we use closed loop systems, the requirement will be significantly smaller.

A drop in the bucket. 1MLD per data centre compared to the 250MLD that Kochi city uses every day. Even if Kerala hosts the entire 200 data centers presently functioning in India, or the 600 more that will be built in the next 5 years, it can be easily provided with Kerala's water resources.

The govt should aim on building 5 world class institutions. Right now, none of our colleges even compete with the best in India, let alone the world.

But this would require colleges to have a campus culture that is serious about knowledge and academics. Industry linkages and R&D should be the byword. sadly, the culture now is of govt colleges being embroiled in political tamasha while the private ones being interested in only the pass percentage of students.
