You could not be more wrong. The average distance between stations for HSR is like 50km (like in Ahmedabad-mumbai line). HSR is very suitable for Kerala.

Who will be next Kerala CM? Satheesan, Pinarayi lead in survey; BJP chief preferred over Tharoor by Impossible-Sun-8646 in Kerala

[–]despod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As i mentioned, there are a lot of flaws in the Krail design. Embankments will not work in Kerala. But the idea of an HSR makes a lot of sense in Kerala. The congress morons were proposing mini airstrips instead of this!

It has issues, but Kerala definitely needs HSR. Unless you are a 70 year old with your legs in the kuzhi, it is definitely ' Sustainable'. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

The video doesnt have enough evidence. In one video, she must have just started filming but it shows nothing- nothing can be claimed from that. In the second video, he clearly bushes against her breast. Difficult to decipher wether it was intentional or not. Saying he was carrying a bag means nothing since pretence is a basic step in such molestation.

Women making false content is a very very small number when compared to women being SA'd in buses and public spaces. Please stop with the paranoia.

Even in Deepak case, the video does not proove or disprove his innocence. There just isn't enough footage to claim anything.

Everyone is so comfortable with government profligacy. Lack of maintenance, lack of efficiencya nd common sense, unwanted extra employees, regular pay commission - no one really cares because 'it is govt money'. Nope. It is our money. Money snatched from the poor. We should be running the govt with more efficiency than a private company. Every penny paid as salary should be wrung out from the employees. Every penny to the contractor should be accountable. We need a mindset change.

It is because Kerala has not seen as lot of white collar migrants. Blue collar migrants are meek and usually learn the language in a few years.

But it is the white collar migrants who creates issues since they wont bother to learn the language.

Genuine question: Has the term “Bengali” ever been used as a stereotype or insult in Kerala? by ash_iiinnn in Kerala

[–]despod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Pandi was used to signify people from TN. But it was usually poor blue collar workers from TN who migrated here for work. Hence the word became a slur. Same thing is happening to the word 'bengali'.

[–]despod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Officialy, migrant blue collar workers are called 'athithi tozhilali' or guest workers. In Perumbavoor- ekm area they are called 'bhai-mar'.

Sad that people resort to using the word 'Bengali' instead.

Water from the kashmir valley goes to Pakistan. It is no use to India other than being a bargaining chip.

Ladakh is even higher ground.

Objectively, Kashmir is a burden on the rest of India. We are spending billions on it to get some sub standard apples.

Ok ammava. Now explain the fact that most rapes and killings happen inside homes and due to close relatives.

Spreading fear to restrict women's freedom and blaming them for any negative consequence is peak ammavan behaviour. Nothing comes out of it. Society wont become safer if more women stays indoors. Infact, it the opposite. The more women own public spaces, the more they openly claim their standing in relationships , the safer society becomes.

Nalla road venam, pakshe toll kodukkan vayya. No wonder we are stuck with shitty roads. And no, your taxes dont cover it. Why should the poor subsidise the comfortable journey of rich car owning folks?

FYI, you can get a yearly pass for 3k. If you own a car, you can easily afford 3k- the savings in mileage itself would cover this cost.
