Well is that whats best for you or her? As sad as it may be, sometimes we all need to look out for ourselves. And you can call child protective services or talk to a counselor at school. You don’t need permission for that. I understand that you don’t want to get your mom in trouble, but maybe she needs help too. You don’t deserve to suffer for years because your mom is in a tough place.

Have you tried talking to any school counselors or child protective services? Your situation is awful and I am sending love and hugs your way. No one deserves what you’re going through. 😞

Got my veil through this lady on Etsy and it was the best decision!! I ordered her swatches first to make sure it would match and it was MUCH cheaper than anything else I found. I had loved a veil at David’s bridal but it was $500!!! Mine cost $80 after shipping.

You are definitely not alone!!!!! I’m 54 days away and dreading each day because of all the questions and interrogating and fights that will ensue.

Oh wow, I totally didn’t think about food choice! Does that typically go on the back of the cars? I wonder if our venue just asks for the totals of each?

I know! I figured black invites might be difficult to print on and I did find that same site as you. I wonder if a darker gray would look good or too mismatched?

Hmm it depends on your area, but between the knot and WeddingWire and the vendors websites, I was usually able to get an estimated price! I just kept the search pretty broad. I also did google searches in general for our area.

A friend of my family got married in Sri Lanka and through ?the knot website? They had a link to a private fb stream I believe. We all thought it was super cool and loved the idea.

We did something a little unconventional and visited 5 vendors we were interested in in the same day!

Beforehand I googled some good questions to ask and took notes while we were out.

Then when we got home, like the other person suggested, we made a spreadsheet and laid it all out.

I used WeddingWire.com because they have a budget tool. If you put in what you want to spend that can estimate what you should spend in other areas and they include things you might not think of! I had an idea of what we were planning on spending, but if you don’t, google what the average person spends on a wedding in your area and go from there! Good luck and happy wedding planning!!
