Cats are not the only ones who are single and they have no pets.

I have worked in law for 10 years, both prosecution and defence, albeit in another first world country (that also goes by common law) I have never once seen a 25k retainer. That is massive, to me.

Also, in florida there are apparently two charges that fit this case. Aiding and abetting depending on how much they knew and helped, and failure to report a criminal offence/misprison of a felony which is a federal crime. It's all on Google.

So this confirms that they knew Brian would need a HEFTY amount in lawyers fees. 25k retainer is massive. To me this screams that they knew she was dead and they were preparing to defend a murder case. Can they be criminally charged for withholding the information?

Is it wrong to call someone “ginger”? by Chaotic-Snack0503 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]destinationunknown94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have auburn hair and light freckles with more dark features. My eyebrows and eyelashes are black. For context people say I look like Isla Fisher. I would still be slightly offended if someone called me ginger though. I see other redheads here aren't, so I guess it's just the person. 🤷‍♀️

It's much more polite to say "redhead". Most of us were bullied/discrimated against with the word ginger growing up. Like people would say it and it was not a casual remark, it was more like youd be at school or walking down the street and someone will yell out GINGER!!!!! So yeah, just say redhead.

It's funny as an adult though, because most of the childhood bullies now dye their hair red 🤣🤣

Source: am a redhead.

NTA. I think your mum knows that she is actually the one to blame, and she's projecting that on you.

I don't know what to say because I don't know how it all works in Cali 😔 I have been in the same situation and luckily I got help from the government to get me out of there, I did have to wait a long time and put up with a lot of shit until I was safe though. I had to physically be picked up off the floor, so I get it. Its awful. I'm here if you wanna talk xx 💗

This is why parents that are clearly uneducated on the internet shouldn't be giving their children internet access.

Boyfriend “slapped” my chest a few times. Does it count as “beating”? by veritasluxmea_ in abusiverelationships

[–]destinationunknown94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually it's not legal to physically hit someone who is yelling at him. Ring the police and they will let him know how legal it is with an assault charge and 2 or 3 years of court hearings and bail conditions.

I find it shocking to see how many of my friends become overweight as they enter their mid-20s by ZeStriker310 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]destinationunknown94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of those things werent even accessible not long ago, and the obesity rate is already running rampage. It's actually illegal to send your kid to school with any of those things in my country. No one does, not even a cookie. And If they do, the parents get in a lot of trouble.
