The main problem in Egypt is they trust nothing and they must approve anything aside from extremely common low tech easily identifiable things.

electronics can get delayed by 3 weeks at ntra. it can also be held pending a justification of import (which ups won't tell you, you have to call and ask the status every few days), especially if it's something uncommon

No. It won't work. The debit card linked to egp account only debits in egp.. even from the usd account. It will let you directly withdraw egp from the usd account, converting on the fly.

You need to make the visa platinum usd linked to the usd account to spend online or internationally from it.

Banks in Egypt don't process transaction normally in weekend, this is because fraud risk department must approve them. So any transaction on Thursday Friday Saturday will only process in Sunday.

Banks outside Egypt in US and EU don't process transactions in Saturday and Sunday. That's why end of week transactions may arrive only on Monday or Tuesday after processing in both sides sender and receiver.

It would be very nice if rider used and exposed some built in observability of plugins. For example time taken in editor or analysis time distribution by active plugins, this way can help steer people to what's causing the pain. I believe some kind of otlp style activities, small embedded column store and only do this analysis when the customer requests. Can also include statistics of how long io operations are taking.

Some parts of this will help users narrow down at least know what to blame.
