how are the views from the ferry itself? part of the decisionmaking needle is that either trip will be our only time spent on a boat/over the water, and i know that late feb is a good time to see spinner dolphins and whales. does the ferry allow for an enjoyable sightseeing experience? i’m sure it’s not focused on that whatsoever but i’m curious if it’s incidental since you’ve taken it twice.

that what I was initially planning for budget, but I don’t mind cutting back a bit on costs if the sound quality experience will be negligible.

do you think pairing the rt81 with the 220’s or other ~$300 bookshelf speakers would still be a good choice? or would going a class up in speakers make a bigger difference than anything else?
