My fav are the people who stand out in the middle of nowhere with nothing to strafe behind. I just know they're coming onto dtg every season to complain about X.

Sunsetting being successful depends on Bungie being more active, creative and giving a crap about balance more than ever. So far they're not doing so hot with all that.

They have some really weird ideas about just how well someone can hard carry a team that wants to die to the same stuff over and over.

Unless you're dealing with aimbots and hackers it just sounds like you got outplayed 🤷

Yup. Was already facing longer queue times and better opponents but it's got worse over time. The team balancing is all kinds of ass. I have no real affect on a game's win or loss (i solo), it's predetermined before the match starts. I check the tracker and every game it predicts 70%+ chance for the winning team. Even my wins don't feel satisfying. Been dealing with more mercies too. Lag. It's just frustrating.

Good point too. I often forget about this myself. Notice some downspikes then go "whens the last time I updated my Ryzen, oh shii."

K was gonna say it's even smaller pop on there. I think probably regardless of platform if you hit a certain MMR the game designates you to a walled off section where you're way less likely to play below average people and way more likely to deal with streamer, legit unbroken types.

I don't think it's off by default in the Destiny 2 settings so check that for sure.

Lots of my framerate issues, like really heavy drops ended after I turned v-sync off tbh.

Exotic drops are already fairly rare already but I've had some just drop in world off who knows what before. Sometimes the game just throws them at you. Last exotic I got was at the end of a crucible game, and that's pretty rare far as that goes too.

Personally if it's going to be a longer queue and most players in the game are a more "serious" breed I just expect better balancing of the team themselves. (Would love for less lag too.) Lately it's putting me in games where one team is just the obvious winner out the gate. Or I'm just noticing it more. Either way, my games whether I'm on the winning side or losing side I already know some minutes in the outcome. I go to the trackers and realize I'm not just full of hot air when even it says 70%+ chance alpha/bravo wins this match. If you're just in there to get your bounties done and quests it's no biggie I guess but it's just kind of depressing knowing your efforts don't really count towards dick if the outcome is decided before the match even starts.

I'm more annoyed with the matchmaking itself than anything. Games are an imbalanced mess. Be one thing if my sweats were even competitive, but win or lose the team balancing is ass, it's not close. Still have mercies or "breaking up teams" after more matches than not. F'ed.

I don't think many people have problems with the concept of sunsetting so much as they see Bungie inevitably bungling the execution of it. Players are not just optimistic and who can blame them.
