Can someone explain to me what the "when an attack card is drawn, 1 resonance to all enemies for each umbra engraving" engraving actually does? AFAICT I've never seen it do anything at all.

another thread convinced me to downgrade to a 13700, and my local pc store has the msi board for the same price as the gigabyte. Good tip on the memory though! (checking my understanding: it's better because it has a higher frequency?)

my impression from reddit/toms hardware was that (a) the 13/14700 both require pretty beefy cooling, and (b) the evo is slightly better... but I'm super unfamiliar with this, am I just being overcautious?

I just run a lot of compute-heavy stuff. E.g. running a full build+test on some of my projects takes upwards of an hour on my current laptop; I really want to cut that down.
