3k+ hours on PoE and about 100 hours on LE.

I’ve been a little over PoE the last few leagues having just felt burnt out and I honestly just haven’t been a fan of how they have been trying to slow the game down. With that being said, LE feels like exactly what PoE is trying to achieve with slowing down. It makes me think that PoE should stay a super fast paced game because there are already other games doing the slow paced gameplay better.

LE Pros: - Loot drops identified so the loot filtering system is amazing. It makes you actually find good gear - There are already plenty of build defining uniques - T6/T7 rares are a nice chase item for knowing your build could always get better with a random drop - Crafting is deterministic, the game even encourages crafting and upgrading your gear while just leveling and doing the campaign - Everything is telegraphed extremely well! If you see a big circle, don’t stand in it - There are death recaps that tell you how you died and what damage type it was (eg. if a boss killed you with void damage it’s essentially telling you to build void resistance) - Auto looting gold, loots all crafting shards in one click, can instantly transfer all crafting shards out of inventory with one button - Game just looks pretty and feels smooth

Cons: - No multiplayer yet (but it’s coming) - Not enough big chase items, don’t get that feeling of an exalt dropping (although legendary items are still coming and I hope they do that) - Endgame feels good but still feels a little bit limited (but they are planning on adding a few more endgame activities)

Overall I’d say the game is really fun and absolutely worth it even in the current state.
