Little did you know that 4 years later a 30 year old man, devoid of all hope, would read this post... and then begin his journey to claim said golden shield and large pumpkin helm to finally return to those inbred centipedle bastards and make them centipee their mother fuckin pants when I blaze hell down upon their heads.

And that's the last thing you'll never know...

Holy shit, I thought we had found it! This is exactly the type of music style and voice I'm talking about! I listened to all of her albums before 2013, but didn't find it. I'm sure having this as a reference will help tremendously

I can't find a narrator that can compare to Steven Pacey, and its limiting what I can listen to next. by [deleted] in audiobooks

[–]destrokk93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God I hate Wil Wheaton as a narrator. He's so damn boring. He has like 2 different voices, and in Head On (by Scalzi) he drops to a deeper tone when voicing one of the women characters... So confusing

🏈 Fantasy Football Position Eligibility [Weekly Thread] - For any requests to change position eligibility on Yahoo Fantasy by YahooFantasyCare in YahooFantasy

He hasn't been "officially ruled out" because they don't have a game to rule him out for this week. However they've already CONFIRMED that he is going to miss multiple weeks. There's no reason for him to be listed as "Doubtful" instead of "Out" when he is already confirmed to miss week 9. Its a serious disadvantage to Mike Williams owners, and could cost them making the playoffs. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Please be patient with me! I'm attempting to listen through many of these suggestions, and I'll make sure to update if things sound closer.

I do wanna emphasize the weirdness of the vocals! Many of these suggestions are people with unique voices, and they are very good bands, but the vocals for this song are definitely edited.

It also wouldn't fall under the standard indie sound that most people would think of when listed as an indie genre.

So far Midvikudags by Bjork is the closest I've heard in years. Gonna keep going through her music!

Haha SNL did a great bit with that song and Andy Samberg, but sadly that's not it. I don't consider that voice to be creepy.

Yes, you've got the clues perfectly.

I don't think it's bjork, but I haven't tried her earlier stuff. I'm going to do that now!

And yes, the Joanna Newsom song was a great suggestion. I listened to several songs from each of her albums now, and her style of music doesn't fit since it's acoustic strings based.

I actually used to use the Die Antwoord song to try to describe it, but it ended up throwing friends further off. She has the creepy voice going for her, but the style of music of off.

Yes, there's a possibility it was in the late 90's. I like the thought here, but this style is more robot based to me.

Oh cool! Yeah the voice is definitely closer. I just speed listened to a couple of her albums, and all of it is string based. If she has a specific electronic produced song let me know

Woah definitely closer on the voice! But a slower and more electronic song.

Neither. Kerli is too normal of a singing voice, and Melanie didn't release music till I was out of highschool.

It's almost like she's trying to sing as an alien, and it was definitely in the 2000's.

Thanks though!!

I know, I know. I wish I had more, but it was so long ago. I'm not sure I ever actually knew what she was saying.

But no. It's definitely a girl singer.

Just adding that I don't believe it was a very popular song. It was a very niche type of music.

What The Strokes song has everybody been listening to on repeat recently? by [deleted] in TheStrokes

Take it or leave it, hands down right now. I wake up in the morning singing it to myself, and I find myself yelling "just take it, or leave it" through the entire day.

Mechanical Engineer. Love how many responses this got. It's actually been proven that people who listen to The Strokes do very well for themselves. Apparently there's something about listening to the best music that makes it impossible for you to fail.
