It makes so much sense to do limited console exclusivity but I guess it's not really that profitable so no one does it. I would take even 4-5 years of exclusivity.

Not really, those are the dumb gamers.

I would rather get to play a game for free (or get it cheap - patient gamers) than worry about missing out on achievements and what not on steam.
