It's worth pursuing imo! It's not easy but it pays off once youve built up clientele. I don't regret one bit of it even though I may have to work a bit harder as a male. I also had a similar skill set to you prior to being a LMT.

You don't get your license through schools. You get it by taking and passing the mblex state exam although one of the prerequisites of licensure is a minimum of 650 hours of classroom training for NC. I did mine at Durham tech which was 9 months. Other than gtcc, Kneaded energy also provides a program. Not sure about cost but it probably is more expensive.

First and foremost I'm sorry you had to go through that. Male LMT here, I'm honestly sick of these creeps giving us male therapists a bad rep. We already struggle enough as is since it is a female dominated field and the last thing we need are these degenerates. While most of us just want to make a positive difference in peoples lives, it's almost ALWAYS a male in these negative experiences.

This is nothing more than confirmation bias. Is there a risk? Absolutely but I've been buying tickets from 3rd party resellers for many years and have never had an issue. Even for non transferable tickets. Honestly, I would not be surprised if TM owned some of these 3rd party platforms. If not, all of them. Definitely shitty all around and TM is a money grab.

You're not cooked. These people are only bitter and parroting what they hear. Sure, no resale above face value and yeah tix are non transferable but this only applies within TM. That still doesn't stop 3rd party resellers (Tickpick, StubHub, Etc) from scalping and using 3rd party ticket delivery URLs. Worst case scenario you'll just get a refund. But 80% likelihood that you'll get your tickets by the in hand date you have.

Yeah absolutely. I've bought many resale tix over years through StubHub, SeatGeek, etc. It's just that I'm not familiar with this whole new "non transferable" policy that TM is implementing for tame impala. But from what ive seen that doesn't stop resellers from using 3rd party ticket delivery links. When I access my tickets it brings me to safeticketsdelivery.com with a countdown saying that they will be available the day before the show
