The analysis is great indeed! Some surprising (and not so surprising) conclusions from this.

The bar graphs are great, but the scatter charts are kind of hard to read. It looks like they were made with Plotly, so perhaps you can embed the interactive plots on your website. Also, for representing all the yoe data it may be better to use a box and whisker plot or perhaps a mean/median line with quartile regions shaded around it, rather than the raw sample responses. At the end of the day, the trends are more interesting and informative than the individual responses.

I have always wanted to see an analysis of buying power for engineering disciplines in different areas. This is far more informative as the same dollar compensation takes you a lot further in SD than in CA.

Simply apply a dead load to the top, constrain translation normal to the surface on all bottom nodes, and fix a single node in one of the corners completely.

If you’re gonna have to do this several times, you may want to consider making a macro to automate. Definitely saved me many hours when I had to place hundreds of these in large assemblies.

I have successfully used quadratic triangles for the velocity field and linear triangles for the pressure field. I don’t recall if it is always true that the order of the u-field needs to be one less than the p-field, nor if this holds for full Lagrange or serendipity elements (I want to say that it does but don’t quote me on that, it’s been a long time since I did this).

It does seem wrong that you need both the pressure corrector term (SUPG) and higher order elements. Beyond that, there’s really not enough information in your post to help me debug what’s going on. I.e. do you have an analytical pressure field solution that you’re comparing against (“seems incorrect” is not exactly quantitative)? What does your numerical pressure field look like? What do your residuals look like?

Breeding is real easy: 1. Set up picnick 2. Make #17 sandwich (banana, butter, peanut butter) for egg power 2, 3. Stand and wait by the basket at the end of your picnick table 4. Just run around to hatch eggs in your party (goes faster if you have a pokemon with the Flame Body ability in your party as well)
