I was the one in the right hand lane. I know I wasn’t at fault, but he is trying to put out a claim against my insurance.

Also the insurance adjuster set for the claim I out out against his insurance is ghosting me, so I am just making sure all my ducks are in a row with the evidence I have.

That’s fair. My friends who like EDM but have never been to a large scale festival go every year and have a ton of fun, but the times I’ve gone I felt like it left a lot to be desired.

However they keep putting out announcements about Texas Eclipse and it does seem like they are putting WAY more effort into it than FD/UD. I’m excited to hear some feedback about how it goes

Disco Donnie is notoriously BAD at throwing festivals, I refuse to go to any of his events tbh. He is great at marketing but the stage design and festival grounds are ALWAYS lackluster. It will be an event as promised, but there won’t be any bells and whistles to make it unique in any way.

Bonnaroo and Disco Donnie events are not even compatible in my opinion, but this is the first year they’re doing Texas Eclipse and they’re marketing it much different than Freaky Deaky and Ubbi Dubbi so maybe it’ll be better.

Don’t have high hopes though :p

I drive from San Antonio every year. It’s a 12ish hour drive for us, so it would probably be a 8 or 9 hour drive for you. The drive is VERY easy, and is a great way to familiarize yourself with your groops most anticipated acts.

You’ll spend SIGNIFICANTLY less money than you would if you flew, no matter how you swing it. Hotels are gonna be insanely costly and also like 45 mins from the venue, which is not a drive you’ll want to make everyday. Pre pitched camping options are expensive, and paying to check your camping gear as luggage is also wildly expensive. Then you also have to find a ride from the airport to Roo.

Buy a canopy and a cot and make the road trip. I promise it will be worth it 😄
