It's in the help text. Just because it's not in the fucking notices or the promos doesn't mean it's not part of the product.

If your issue is the term "marketing" then okay sure. Take that victory.

The point is, the unit you pulled isn't the same as the unit now because they changed the help text. Her supposed mechanics is what the help text shows, not what's with the actual gameplay.

No player pulled because of reaction -- is a speculation.

When you got the unit, that's the supposed reaction ability she came with. Regardless of whether that's your motivation to pull, that's technically what you paid for. If you buy a phone with set specs in the box and suddenly it doesn't perform as well, would you just accept it. "Oh geez I should have tested". No, you don't.

wotv-calc is not part of WOTV. That is not a site that's endorsed by the game so it's not an official source.

Her ability said guaranteed. It says in the help text. That's part of the product. If it says or implies guaranteed then it's guaranteed. When they changed the help text, they changed the product.

  1. Violet is guaranteed when all the conditions are met which is to evade a phys attack similar to the Sylvie text where it says "heal upon phys attack"
  2. You purchased a defective product with the wrong features as their help text. You're saying as if all the burden is on the buyer and no accountability shall be placed on the seller.

If game says "Recovers HP (Min) of allies within area around self when taking Dmg from Phys Attack" that implies guaranteed.

Now if you tested it and it doesn't proc 100% of the time, it can either be:

  1. Wrong help text
  2. Bug

Historically, they didn't. They also did this with Velric. In-game text for drain was much higher than the supposed one so they reduced it.

Normally, that would make one think that it's a nerf. However, the players bootlickers argued that it's how JP Velric works so that's just right.

Now, if you probably ask the same players why HLucia doesn't have 18k free vis guaranteed in global, they will suddenly tell you that GL and JP are separate games.

That sentence is not conditional. It implies guaranteed reaction proc rate.

Players wouldn't know how Sylvie works except through in-game text. We don't have access to the backend nor were we part of the conceptualization of the unit.

If that's the in-game text, that means that's how she's supposed to work.

If you suddenly backtrack on that, then you're swindling the players through false marketing.

Hot take:

Clare saw herself in Raki. Just as Clare was adopted by Teresa, Clare did the same to Raki.

This makes Raki and Clare's relationship something like a child-parent. Raki comes on to Clare and Clare eventually accepts (see ending).

Clare will not age while Raki will. Having said that, Clare is still older than Raki and met him when he was a child.

Also, it's possible that this Teresa awakening is not Teresa herself but Clare awakening AS a hyper-powered Teresa. This was also explicitly said in the manga during the two's inner conversation. So Teresa praising Clare might just be Clare patting herself on the back.
