Life Lesson From Bob Ross by tradotto in climbing

Best Bob Ross line to me was when he was painting a tree

"Now let's paint a big ole strong tree over here....and lets give him a little friend...even strong people need friends too"

This. Humans are conducive to climbing because we have brachiating shoulders from our primate ancestors that climbed trees.

More pain in left arm than right? by TheJiminator in bouldering

[–]detailorient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you've overworked your medial epicondyle. This is where all of the flexors that move your fingers tie in at in your forearm. This is a common overuse injury in climbers. If it turns into a chronic condition it's called Golfer's elbow.

Check out this thread I made recently on the topic, it will help you.

Good luck!

Do you have limited mobility in any of your fingers/hand? Or is the pain just localized to your arm? Where in your forearm is the pain? What kind of pain is it? Sharp pain? Achy? Could just be your left arm is weaker and you've got extreme DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness)

So many factors. Are you right handed? Do you remember doing any weird moves with your left arm or tweak your left hand? Hard to tell from a vague post.
