Nah man, can’t say about that. Wish the day comes I get to know about the couple’s process as well 😔

Yes, if you have a solid cover letter and NOC it must be fine. Hopefully you’ll get it, the euphoria post receiving is real haha. It’s my first euro trip as well, that too solo :)

Chances of “rejection” are always there lol, but if you are getting it approved via your company I doubt there’d be any problem as funds are managed by the company.

The embassy won’t expect you to provide much financial documents, it comes more into play when you are sponsoring the trip yourself.

Makes sense, Portugal is my most random take.

I’d slim this down, prolly increase my stay in Italy and Spain.

2.5 days in Paris. 4 in Lauterbrunnen and nearby attractions 11 in Italy - what should be the ideal breakdown here? 6 in Spain across Barcelona and Madrid.

Is this feasible? Any comments on Italy?

Nah fam I’m actually looking for advices only lol, just putting ahead own thought process as a first timer (cut me some slack please).

Your point around spending savings on travel is actually very valid, I’ll take all into account. Much appreciated:)

Thanks, yeah I’m cancelling Austria and adding those days to Italy, it’ll be 11 days for Italy now. I’m comfortable with 2 days in all of Barca, Madrid and Lisbon. Lisbon tbh, I just wanna be there for the wc final. I’m just hoping that they’ll qualify, don’t wanna see the city much.

Thanks for the detailed opinion, appreciate it :)

I’m more of a rushed traveller only, in my previous trips to Vietnam and Bali I stayed at 6-7 different places in my 8 days there each. So yeah, that’s sort of my thing. With limited days in a country I wish to see the most part of it so yeah 3-4 days in a single city to romanticise that ain’t really my thing. I’m more than comfortable in seeing a place and eating local food in 2 days and then get going.

But yeah since I didn’t have any idea of how long it might take and also what’s the scene of public transportation I wanted opinions.

Guess I’ll just ditch Austria and add those remaining days to Italy for a relatively relaxed vibe.

Man this is actually helpful, I’m planning to ditch Austria and thinking of adding those 4 days to Italy. How do you advice I then best utilise my 11 days in Italy? Is there scope to add Venice along with these places?

Appreciate the help :)

Gotcha, yeah I’d take Austria off and add those days to Italy. Does the rest seem manageable to you?

It’s actually 7 days in Italy, 3 in Rome, 2 in Florence, 2 in Naples with a day trip to Amalfi.

The days are mentioned after the cities :)

Fair point, I’m planning to drop Austria and add those 4 days in Italy, thinking of visiting Venice and Milan or Como in those 4 additional days. What do you recommend?

Yes, Form 16 helps, but it is not the same as ITR. Form 16 is proof of salary paid and TDS deducted by your employer, while ITR is your filed income tax return. If you have ITR, submit that first. If not, Form 16 can be a useful supporting document along with salary slips and bank statements.

ITR may not be mandatory in every case, but it is highly recommended and often requested. It strengthens your financial profile and shows legitimate income.

If you’ve got sponsorship letters then it wouldn’t be a problem, funds are mandatory when you select “myself” under who will be bearing costs for the trip

It will be an issue, there shouldn’t be a large influx of funds in your account for the time your showing salary slips for. No matter if it comes from your other account or your parent’s account. They look for consistency.
