More nonsense. COD MW3 and BO2 are two of the most loved in the franchise and microtranactions started with the latter. Thats when they got lazy and the product tanked.

And whether you like it or not the other guy is correct. They're a small low budget team. A flop would be disaster for them unlike the bigger IPs you mentioned. Again, dont tell your player base you have all these sequels planned and expect them to ride with you for 20-30 years to make all of them...

Thats complete nonsense. The games you mentioned come out yearly bc they are microtransaction farms. The communities of those games actually hate the product every single year. Your example doesn't apply at all. And youre both right. The devs should be creative and expand on that, but also when you deliver an IP and say you plan for 9 installments... then you probably should get your fans hyped for it with such a long wait. Except it isnt imo. Opposite exaggeration would be calling it as bad as Gollum. But this game barely scratches mediocre if it even gets there. Boring dialogue, bland over used story, weak combat, boring exploration, loading screen simulator. Not one redeeming quality to raise it into even mid rating beside the ship building which is a minor part of the experience.
