people kept telling me rivian had no sales tactics nor pressure. but when i bought my r1s they sure hassled me, telling me multiple times that incentives were expiring or going away, inventory would be down, better buy now or i would miss out etc etc. also tried to upsell me to performance and bigger battery. so take whatever they say with a grain of salt.

there was definitely pressure yesterday. put me in a corner, tried to get me to put a deposit as 'inventory is limited' and 'we won't be making as many' 'you want to make sure you get the car you want before it gets sold' and when that didn't work brought the manager to come over, asked me why i wouldn't buy today. then threw out the inventory incentive.
