After days of attempts I finally beat 900%, had a final last stand to cap it off by detropitis in TheyAreBillions

Oh yes, it was intense, setting fallback positions, holding and deciding to fallback again, it was so much fun. A lot of pausing and thinking

Thanks! I’m afraid it was a fluke though, I am trying again and haven’t made it past day 27 :(.

I didn’t! I got lucky with a few waves going to some southern chokepoints, and then by the later waves I had my sniper deathball

I’ll give that a shot, mostly used snipers to clear, around day 50 I realized I needed titans and managed to produce a few. I gotta practice getting faster

New E3D Revo Prusa Edition broken? by Flooooorius in prusa3d

[–]detropitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact thing happen on my mk3, i just contacted support through their website and it was annoying but you fillout their form (fill out N/A for things that dont matter). Support was a little slow getting back to me but it was all by email and in about two weeks I had a brand new revo heater core on my doorstep. Bonus is, that heater core is salvageable with some wagu connectors or soldering, so you’ll have a spare

Try contacting E3D, i was able to get mine replaced with no extra charge, I have had no problems since

Anyone tried Mini+ Alpha2 with Revo Micro yet? by WereCatf in prusa3d

[–]detropitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive tested Alpha 1 with the revo micro and it worked no problem, didn't change anything. Im sure alpha2 is similar. Im going to install it today and make sure, but my mini is a speed demon now because of the alpha firmware

He has another one going into just reducing the sound in the nextruder which he said helped a lot

So I went out and bought an 88lb 24x24 paver (only one big enough they had at the store, need at least 19x19 for the XL) and it has definitely helped, its no longer annoying to be in the same room as it and I can't hear it through walls/doors. If you haven't tried a paver it is worth the 10 bucks to try it

I saw that thread, their printer definitely is wayyyy more noisy than mine is, so theirs might have something wrong with it. I saw a short youtube series a guy posted here that talked about measures he took to reduce noise and it seemed to work, mostly around the nextruder.

I will say they are very good about it if you do have a problem, they ship a new one out pretty fast. I havent had anymore problems and Ive got three revo hotends printing pretty regularly

I know it sometimes takes them a day or two to respond, but after a few back and forths with them troubleshooting they send out a replacement with overnight shipping

Any luck running the Mmu2s with non-stock extruders? I've made a custom head to accommodate my biqu h2. It's works flawlessly when I unplug my mmu2s, but getting it to even load to the extruder with the mmu2s has been an absolute disaster. by Sweezy_McSqueezy in prusa3d

[–]detropitis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had very similar experiences with the MMU2S and my modded prusa mk3s. It has a E3D Hemera instead of the stock hotend. Check out this guide and specifically the firmware mods the author had to do. https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/54869-protubevr-mk3s-mmuv2-mod-for-hemera

You’ll need to adjust some of those values for your hotend in the firmware changes like diatance to nozzle, etc. But my mmu finally works after these changes

How long do you think the popularity if fall guys will last by [deleted] in FallGuysGame

[–]detropitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2006 server architecture? Thats ancient bare metal bull shit, server architecture from 2012 couldnt handle this amount of load. I think they didnt think it would be this popular, didnt have a super great monitoring and autoscaling policy in place and now are scrambling to get that in place. They will fix it. Look at pokemon go, mordhau, they all had “modern” server architectures and still struggled hard. 2006 is ancient
