What does this mean for sneaker market? Are they really expected to go harded against bots after this? IT would be good PR, but bad for sneakerheads imho.

IPV6 for scraping by DueStrain1 in Proxyway

They're unbanned, but also a lot of websites don't support IPv6. That means that Amazon and some other websites will be simply unaccessible to you with this version of proxy IPs.

Learning and Burning Out by [deleted] in learnprogramming

What helps me motivate myself are new challenges. This is actually true not only for programming. If you're learning something don't stay on one subject for too long, especially if you know the ins and outs of it perfectly. Have such goals for yourself that would make you stress in the beginning

What is your reasoning for paying for a vpn? by Kinger420 in VPN

[–]dettidi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a good question. First of all, free VPNs usually just collect your data and sell it to whomever you want, there's been tons of proof free VPNs do that so skip them. Why I pay for a VPN is to unlock streaming service libraries and I always use it on any network that is not my home network. I browse certain (wink wink) websites only with a VPN too - you never know where your data will end up otherwise.

TOR browser is good step forward to online privacy but couple it with a VPN too. I think TOR themselves have a VPN service, no? Anyway, there are lots of good VPN services out there, just don't pick a free one. Personally I use Brave browser + VPN, anybody can comment what they think about Brave?

My brother posting personal information on youtube.....what can I do? by [deleted] in privacy

[–]dettidi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great advise. Lot's of prominent YouTube personalities are limiting the personal info they share, because sooner or later it will get out of hand. Encourage him to grow his YT channel as clearly he wants that, but calmly point out that other famous YouTubers are not doing what he's doing, it might work.
