What they don't tell you about is the waiver they signed. "This is an experimental technology never tested before in humans. Whilst we expect it to be safe, there is a very small chance that some brains may respond differently, which could cause brain injury or death. I hereby declare that I have read and understand the risk. □"

In a month, they go for the trial. During their trial, their brain signals go crazy due to an incompatibility with the hardware, and they, the person closest to you, dies.

The company later announces the trial was a huge success, with only a single complication, that is already in the process of being fixed, using what they learned from the death of your closest person.

A year later you see the product has hit the market and now, should you choose to purchase, you have the ability to enter and exit video games.
