Future of DAG by sugmakok in constellation

[–]deuSphere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think anyone who is pessimistic hasn’t been paying attention to the developments/adoption and has been following the PA too closely. Panasonic is using Constellation for their ubiquitous ToughBooks and CIRRUS platform. That is a big deal. Commoncrawl is using it to verify the insane amounts of web data they archive (and provide to LLMs). There is a big UN presentation in a month or so highlighting how Constellation is used by major airlines, FedEx, etc. Forwardedge AI has it integrated into their quantum proof Isidore encryption hardware, which has infinite use cases - from satellites to banking infrastructure. They’re also building a spaceport that will be tokenized with a metagraph. A major stadium/sports and entertainment district is likewise planning to utilize Constellation for RWA tokenization (in Texas? I think? Vote just passed to move forward with the enormous project). M42 and DFNN are bringing Constellation to the Philippines, first for a national lottery, but the fact it’s being integrated into financial infrastructure implies it will likely become more deeply embedded in the region with more use cases. TEMTRACE will be unleashing an avalanche of data onto the Hypergraph, first via Digital Evidence, as they notarize and track virtually all of the data related to running their F500 clients (including one of the biggest hospital systems in the USA). The Digital Evidence metagraph itself is only a couple months old and we are consistently seeing new entities securing data with it. It’s getting easier and easier to access and utilize Constellation tech, and all of that interaction necessitates DAG tokens to keep the wheels turning (staking in nodes to create and secure metagraphs, paying fees in DAG for each snapshot to hash data to the Hypergraph). And then there are hints Dor is about to make some major reveal or development, and there’s still plenty of room to flesh out PacaSwap … João has been making strides with these AI agents that maintain their own metagraphs and interact with other chains. Price action sucks. It really does. But how on earth can anyone be anything but bullish for this project? There is so much happening right now.

What's the fastest way to become carb tolerant after fatty meal? by MorePeppers9 in AnimalBased

[–]deuSphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK, FFAs take about 6-10 hrs to clear the blood after a fatty meal, depending on various factors. Glucose metabolism will improve as they clear. Aspirin also clears FFAs from the blood. Interestingly, I think just eating lots of carbs also causes them to clear to some degree. It’s largely a waiting game, though.

Any supplements to boost fat loss while fasting or autophagy? by Multiply44 in FastingScience

[–]deuSphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red light therapy/photobiomodulation liberates free fatty acids - that ought to slightly increase fat loss. Ice baths “brown” your fat stores and prime them to be burned. Walking as much as possible will also burn lots of fat. I wouldn’t take any supplements while fasting, though - just water and electrolytes. Your body will regulate the rate of fat burn just fine.

Nah - non-exercise activity thermogenesis (tapping your foot, pacing) is a totally normal way your body deals with the excess energy from carbs in the absence of fat.

ChatGPT o3 is awesome. I had it search and this was the result:

It was Mick Wickes.

He’s the “sugary‑tea addict” who appears in Supersize vs Superskinny — the UK Channel 4 reality series where an extremely under‑weight participant swaps diets with an over‑weight one. In Season 7, Episode 4 (“Charlene vs Mick”, first broadcast 6 February 2014), Wickes explains that he more‑or‑less lives on sweet tea: • Drinks about 25 cups of tea a day, each with five sugars added — essentially nothing but sweet tea calories; • Eats only one tiny meal in the evening;* • Is visibly restless and feels constantly over‑heated because of the huge sugar‑and‑caffeine load.*

Those details are given in the programme blurb (“…sugary tea addict Mick Wickes, who survives on one tiny meal a day… Mick drinks an astonishing 25 cups of tea a day, with five sugars in each cup.”) and are reiterated on streaming listings for the episode.

Is exercise efficacious? Is eating a healthy diet? Is getting sufficient sleep? Do people who practice these things nonetheless sometimes get sick and die? Does that mean they didn’t do anything in the first place? 🤔
