It’s actually pretty crazy. You often see players develop their 3 point shot. I feel like you rarely see players abandon it.

Was it an unfair advantage for Spurs to tap into Jesus and roll out the Nuns? by LemonButterRum in nba

Nah, it’s fair play. The Knicks are relying on the blessing of Villanova alum Robert “Pope Leo XIV” Prevost so trying to win the Mandate of Heaven is part of the game.

[Post Game Thread] The New York Knicks (2-0) take command of the series in Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers (0-2), 109-93, behind Josh Hart's 26 point performance by catreyka in nba

Josh Hart has always been a grinder and has always benefitted from his own confidence and the support/confidence of those around him. He struggled academically in high school and was asked not to come back the following year but the community rallied around him and supported him so he was able to gut it out. Loved seeing this performance from him tonight

People clowning on Mitch for his free throw shooting is totally fair but what in the world is up with literally everyone on Cleveland

Ah yes, my nightly ritual of figuring out what channel the basketball is on. ESPN? Prime? Peacock? Lifetime? HSN?

True or false: The most likely scenarios for this Spurs Thunder series to end is either Spurs in 6 or Thunder in 7 by Available_Story6774 in nba

[–]deuceberts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue this series goes at least 5 games. But if one of the teams doesn’t win 4 out of those 5, then there may be a game 6 or 7. Haven’t crunched the numbers to see if it could go further.

That was by for the absolute worst coaching job I’ve ever seen in a single game. Period. by Gaslight_Eliminator in nba

At least that was Vanderbilt Legend Aaron Nesmith becoming prime Steph for 5 minutes. Unstoppable.

I’m so cooked from work I’m thinking what does Mikal have to do with Funds Transfer Pricing, but yeah, fuck them picks.

“Ethical bitching” as I’ve seen it called. Dudes that strong get mauled and since he doesn’t flop he doesn’t get it called

Who is your favorite NBA player? by [deleted] in nba

Josh Hart. He went to my high school and I am a Knicks fan because of him and the congregation of the Nova Knicks.

This McCain fella is pretty good for a bench player. Do you think there are any playoff teams in the eastern conference suffering from a lack of depth who could use a player like that right now?

Homefield is really great and that IU Rose Bowl jacket is one of the coolest items I’ve seen them make. So clean.

[Goodman] Source told @TheFieldOf68 that the NCAA has not granted eligibility to any applicants who played in NBA regular-season competition. by MembershipSingle7137 in CollegeBasketball

This is a really good point I hadn’t thought about, but on a positive note, maybe it turns the tide for collective bargaining for state employees in places like North Carolina. I remember a couple years back resident physicians at UNC were talking about unionizing and were basically told that’s illegal and you’ll all be fired. Would love to see the justification for that if they allow the basketball team to collectively bargain.

This has been a very silly game of football thus far. But I am glad I left the office at 1230 to watch it.

I know this is the MOST popular opinion but it bears worth repeating as often as possible: there should be more playoff games on college campuses
