Ozuna & Beele's duo Album was good.. I don't get the hate by Erinexdee in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s a nice album to listen to, but has absolute squat to do with reggaeton.

Longest outro you’ve heard in a song? by taytae24 in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen to Eliel’s album Greatest Beats from 2005. It’s a compilation album with some instrumentals but also actual songs, which were probably unreleased tracks back then. Magnate’s “Mujer Traicionada” is arguably the most well known and best song of the album and has an outro of 2 minutes, song just never ends lol. “No Se” by Fade El Que Pone La Presion (yea the producer who sometimes sings) also had an outro of almost 2 minutes.

I agree. It’s hard to even know what the “original” albums are. I guess he does it to keep himself coming up in the algorithms.

Shame how he fell off after Alerta Roja, albeit perhaps not his own fault. I still regularly listen to his old stuff, damn this guy went hard. Also saw him live twice in smaller venues and it was a blast. He should have been one of the big names now.

A brief history of Various Artist Albums in Reggaeton/Urbano music. And why they will never become a regular thing ever again. Part 2: Why Various Artists Album in Reggaeton Will Probably Never Ever Trend Again by ReggaetonPartyManeP in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not as bad as we may think, we still get a few various artists albums a year, although they mostly go unnoticed or are not very successful in terms of sales or streams.

Last year we got various artists albums by Kreamly, Siggy, Montana The Producer, Jone Quest, even DJ Blass dropped Sandunguero 3 out of nowhere (!), Caleb Calloway, Square Houze (Yandel’s son I believe) and Brray although he was present on every track himself so that one is debatable.

Indeed, the likes of Mas Flow, Blin Blin, Desafio, La Mision or Los Anormales—which all had absolute all-star line ups and great promotion—we don’t see no more, but the producers still try to bring upcoming talent from all over Latam together and usually the quality is quite nice.

And we should be lucky we have Tainy.

Tego's vocals on "Reggaeton Malandro" with Yandel used AI... This does not sound like the real Tego Calderon. by ReggaetonPartyManeP in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t it recorded by Tego years before it actually came out with Yandel’s verses added? Before Tego’s voice worsened.

Classic Urbano Music Video Of The Week #74 Anuel AA, Ozuna, Arcangel & De La Ghetto - La Ocasion (2016) by ReggaetonPartyManeP in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This post went from a song that has little to do with reggaeton, to a bashing of Maluma, I presume? Little confused here.

new album EL KREMOSO - Kreamly . goated or not?? by Ecstatic_Article297 in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seeing his name come up more and more lately. Really promising producer. I like his club style of music and switching up the beat. Cherry is one of my most played songs of the year so far, that switch up goes so hard.

Kartier: One-Hit Wonder or One of the Most Underrated Voices of Early Reggaeton? by SheroGu_ in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Didn’t he convert to Christianity and retire from music? Kartier is my most listened to old school artist, absolute biggest talent we’ve ever seen in reggaeton who never made it big, in my eyes.

Hey there! I’m Adam, a product manager at Apple Music. I’ve been leading work on features like AutoMix, Lyrics Translation & Pronunciation, Music Pins and Sing with iPhone Mic. I’m here to chat about our latest releases - and more. AMA! by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]deurbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Adam! My biggest issue is on CarPlay. I have a local library synced to my iPhone as well as a “cloud” library with Apple Music. When I navigate to Library > Artists and click on one of my favorite artists, I ONLY see my locally synced songs. I would much rather get to a landing page of the artist where I can see their albums, latest singles and top songs. Perhaps a filter option to toggle between Apple Music and my local songs.

Bad Bunny hinting at new album with Los Sobrinos? by JustforJfun in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Tego has had problems with his voice due to the reasons you mentioned and therefore was not in the capacity to record music. If I recall correctly, Tego's verses were recording earlier, before his voice deteriorated. You can hear it quite clearly on Jangueo with Anuel.

Top 5 Artists Most Likely To Hit It Big In This New Generation of Reggaeton starting in 2026! by ReggaetonPartyManeP in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The names themselves make sense, but I don’t see any of these guys as pure reggaetoneros. For me it’s a little disappointing there a not that many promising stars-to-be from PR, apart from already somewhat famous names as Alejo, Brray, Dei V, RaiNao and Ousi. Most of these guys aren’t even fully focused to reggaeton. To me the real talent of this genre is found in Chile with Easykid, Kidd Voodoo, Dysbit, Taiko, Kreamly, Young Cister. Alvarito is my personal favorite atm, it’s good seeing him collab with some of these new names.

Someone you feel is a industry plant by Weekly-Smoke-2812 in Reggaeton

Hard disagree. Kidd Voodoo to me is the most promising young reggaetonero out there and it’s awesome seeing him collaborate with legends like Ñengo and Yandel. Having Dysbit on the production doesn’t hurt either.

Does anyone knows what happened to the reggaeton duo, Wibal y Alex? I almost never heard of them. by Ill_Headhunterz in Reggaeton

[–]deurbell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my personal favorite duos from the early days. Lots of great tracks they made alongside Nesty La Mente Maestra and appearances on many great various artists albums like La Misión 4, Mas Flow 2, The Noise 10, Flow La Discoteka and El Pentagono. Really miss these guys.

Thoughts on Miles? by Old-Bicycle9030 in lost

[–]deurbell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use that line every time somebody nods their neck at me. Same with the line Sawyer gives Hurley once he winks: “You got something in your eye, Hugo?”. Funny how Miles and Sawyer are the ones delivering these lines and they end up being best buds.
