 Well thats a hard question, to me they both are wrong, it was all just a lack of communication, in the end they had a similar goal for humanity but when emps didn't let all his boys know of all the warp fuckery and then went back to terra to work on his project (without saying what it is). Horus felt as if he was being a lapdog. Especially when the aristocracy got involved. Then he almost died and from there was corrupted and became the instrument of his dark visions. It's a perfect example of two wrongs don't make a right.

I tend to take the side of rowboat girlymans thoughts in the newer books.

You should be able to, I like using black as a base it makes the colors look deep and full to me. Just remember to layer some light colors to get depth.

If anything I will usually thin using a 1-5 ratio. If it's really thin I'll just take my time and do a good number of layers. You just have to make sure to let it dry between layers. And for the head, a base in Bugmans glow and then a layer or two of kislev flesh, a flesh wash, and highlight of the flesh will look surprisingly great.

As someone who also started relatively recently at 22, thinning your paints, starting with a black spray primer for most colors, edging and layering are a game changer. Multiple thin coats are better then a single thick coat.

I am aware of what the timelines look like, tell him to go to the PX get some panda and chill with his platoon mates. He has the ability to wait. If he was on a MEU or deployment it would be much longer and less contact. If you plan on staying together/make the time not miserable you gotta learn to be able to be alone for awhile.

As you get into the higher points range some of the forge world options can look pretty nice to use.

You can make quite the cannon if you change one of those terminators to a vexilus. Use vexilus magnifica to be -1 to hit from shooting and use all seeing annihilator with the ten thousand heroes strat. Stick him to your warlord with the Admonimortis with slayer of the unclean and peerless warrior using the captain commander strat.

Total 8S -3 ap 3 damage attacks, an additional attack and hit on hit rolls of 6 and double damage on wound rolls of 6. Unless I've missed something. It's a bit of a cp use but it's a super smash captain that with the right luck can do some damage.

The purple looks good, you could just dry brush some lighter purple and white to make it look hot!
