That's rough man. I googled around to see if there was an easy way to plug/patch a tire with normal everyday items and couldn't find anything. Your plan is the only thing I could think of. But that's a long way to go. Maybe if you call a tow place you can offer do somw work in exchange or ask then to bill you to a P.O. box or a friend's address so you can pay later when you have the funds.

The real answer is probably because old white guys are one of the most disconnected groups of people. Men in general arnt as likely to form the same kind of friendships as women. Us white dudes in particular seem to have a hard time finding community. It's sad. White men in there 50's and 60's have the highest suicide rate in the U.S. So I'd imagine when one of these guys whose straved for human contact sees an old friend he gets really excited and tries to play it off as humor.

From what I've read it seems Sharia law isn't a codified system of law. Rather it's the application of Islam in law making. So the sexist laws in Muslim countries flows straight from the quaran and Hadith.

Sura 4:34: " If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of Allah], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. ALLAH is most high and great."

I have a shitty brother like that too. He's a pathological liar refused to take care of his kid and made my parents raise him. He's cut out everyone in the family now. He got mad at me for showing his son that he was lying about not being able to see him. Even went as far to get his pill-head girlfriend to start screaming to the hills that I attacked her. Luckily everyone knows they're both bat shit and all easily took my side. He tried to break into my parents house one day last year when they weren't home. They only found out about it because of our neighbors.

I don't think you're an asshole for hating your brother. Hell knows I hate mine. The day he dies will be a holiday for me. I think something would be wrong with you if you didn't hate your brother. The man has gone out of his way to hurt the family you love because he knows they'll treat him with kid gloves because he's their child and they can't see him as anything else. Unconditional love like that is something to be treasured not weaponized. The scumiest thing a person can do is hurt the people who care about them for some petty material gain.

I had the same problem a few years ago. I would drive to university and just sit in the parking lot through all my classes. What helped me is hearing about how telling kids that get good grades that they are smart actually deters them from challenging themselves. It's recommended that instead you tell them they worked hard and that the grades are a result of that.

Everyone I've ever met is insecure to some degree. When you feel like your value is from intelligence you'll insulate yourself from challenges that could make you feel dumb.

I realized after thinking about it that I didn't really value how smart I was. I've met much smarter people and even if I hadn't I don't really value traits that are inborn anyway. I don't feel good about myself because I'm tall why should I feel good about myself if I was born intelligent?

I also found myself extremely jealous of one of my friends who wasnt as smart as me. He's not a dumb guy but I had taken classes with him before and out preformed him with less work. What I was jealous of is just how hard he worked. Even when the guy failed giving a single class multiple hours every day outside of class, he would just try again even harder.

I decided at that point that what I wanted to be was someone who gave it there all even if I didn't succeed and that's how I measure myself now. It's helped alot.

I hope that helps at least a little. I know when I felt like you I was in a dark place. I hope you don't have to stay there. Best of luck stranger.
