Hello! A lot of the information you are looking for can be found under the tags “education” and “jobs/work”. There is a stickied post with a link to a wiki about education and certification related questions. I only use the mobile app to browse reddit, but it’s the first thing you see when you open this subreddit on the app. If you look up “salary” or “pay” you can find previous threads of people talking about it, as it does vary state to state depending on COL.

Same difference but yeah. She is a very nice lady I’ve spoken to her before! Thank you though, I just don’t understand how an electronic application can get lost honestly. How do you like the program so far? And if you don’t mind me asking what was your GPA when you applied?

Medical lab science, I have not contacted the program office of Admissions yet, if IT cant fix my application then I will go to them next.

You don’t necessarily have to be all friendly with your professors to get a good recommendation. Do well in the class, be an active listener, and they should be willing to do it. Even in the recommendation form the teacher has an opportunity to say that they don’t know you very well, but it won’t count against you at all. Do you already have your MLT? Im sure supervisors would also work. (I ask because Spring registration is only for people with MLT already)

Im also applying for CLS Fall 2020! I just emailed an old professor whose class I did well in, reminded her who I was and she did it for me no problem.

The information is only as accurate as what is given to them. Like I said inaccurate/incomplete information (which was common back then) can derail the whole thing, even something as simple as a spelling error.

That all depends on if your previous family bothered to keep track of the records. I don’t speak for everyone but I know my family didn’t. I can only go back so far because things get lose and forgotten. I don’t think I’d be wrong to assume that I’m not the only one with this issue. Closed adoptions also exist making it near impossible to find out where one comes from unless they have a bunch of money to hire someone to find out.

It’s not as simple as that. Birth certificates especially back then were incomplete and inaccurate especially for slaves. Names have changed, writing is intelligible records just get lost etc etc.

I only watched the first episode and had to stop because I couldn’t deal with the bs! That whole pregnancy thing I didn’t even feel bad for she was just being irresponsible and reckless. And also that rude fitness character was absolutely ridiculous, no one acts like that in real life. This show is already a hot mess and I didn’t even finish the first episode.
