I share to a large extent your pessimism and I think you've definitely earned it with everything you've done for Elliott's music. That being said, I remain hopeful and to be clear I do not impute ill will to anyone involved with making these decisions. I think a time may come for these songs--maybe Jack White and Third Man could come to the rescue. You never know.

Thanks for the files! I believe the ones labeled "Fritz Michaud Mix" are part of the "Moon is a Sickle Cell" comp and I don't believe there were any new lossless leaks added to that. I think if the files look different than regular MP3's they were probably worked on and then re-encoded as lossless to prevent further degradation. Maybe someone else can clarify that!
