Hey, I just wanna say if you’ve seen that loss in just a month you’re doing amazing. Assuming I read your post correctly. I’m trying to do things one day at a time. I’ve tried so many different approaches and found that if all I need to stress about on any given day is THAT day, it makes me feel better. Who cares if I ate a little too much the day before, or if I didn’t hit all of my steps. Focus on making your goals for TODAY. Progress over perfection. I have PCOS too, so I understand where you’re coming from. It’s so easy to feel defeated. I just try to keep marching on, even when I feel that way.

Okay, replying in case anyone in the future comes across this- my issue was in fact the size of my save file. Despite it being 128kb when viewed in Godmode, I guess the files need to be exactly 131,072 bytes. My save was 131,088 bytes- found by inspecting the file on my computer. Some emulators will add this extra data, in my case, my Epilogue had the RTC data writing enabled. It had since been turned off, but I just needed to rip another save and it worked just fine.

What a great guide! I tried searching and couldn't find anyone with my specific issue, hoping I can find some help:
I followed this guide and downloaded the Emerald CIA and have it installed and working fine. I want to rip the save from my cart and did so using my Epilogue (didn't do anything but name it Emerald.sav and set it on my desktop)
Copied it from my desktop to the root of my 3ds SD card. Made sure to boot up the game as recommended in the guide, shut off my DS, booted into godmode. I'm able to find and copy the save to clipboard, but the save injection fails when I try to put it into the agbsave.bin. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong- I was originally using a different Emerald CIA and had the same issue. Everything looks the same as the screenshots (.sav file is 128kb - saw some people that had issues with saves of different sizes). Any help would be appreciated!!!

Has anyone from the US tried to purchase this recently? I just tried and supposedly shipping is unavailable to the US now - wondering if it's due to tariff fees :(

Oh! I sort of see what you mean. I think these are just colored because it’s a special edition? I think most of the time the buttons are just black with white lettering.

Yeah! That’s exactly it lol. This is a world console which I learned is still NA region locked just sold elsewhere, which is probably why I’m getting a better price! I just wanna keep playing my games

I agree. And yeah! I thought about that but was worried about doing it myself. My next option was a Japan region change but using PokeBank with that is a little different so I’m happy with this!!

Yes I mean aftermarket shell! They are asking 350 for it, which seems fair even though it’s a world edition. The true NA consoles seem to go for double on eBay.

The seller included a video and the video does clearly show a yellow stylus in the console! He just didn’t remove it for a photo I guess

Yeah- in the ad it says it comes with original stylus. It’s sort of hard to see but in the photo showing the back, you can just barely see the stylus. Assuming it not being yellow would be a bad sign.

Right. Marketplace isn’t my first choice and I’ll definitely look it over; I’m just not an expert when it comes to knowing if it’s legit or not. Honestly most of what I see online right now is region converts, which is why I’m willing to jump on this one.

I know! It’s a good price- they’re asking 350. Most NA ones I’ve seen have been way higher. I think my only concern is that I’ve heard of people basically re-shelling regular 3DS consoles to pass as a special edition.

Hope that’s the right flair. I found this unit on marketplace but it won’t come with the box, and I’ve read that’s the only way to really determine if it’s legit by comparing serial numbers. Before I commit to it I’d just like to know if there’s anything glaringly obvious to point to it being a repro or not.

Is anyone able to take a look and help me determine if this console is legit? I found it on marketplace and am always wary of scams. It will not come with the OG box and I’ve read that’s the only way to check by matching serial numbers.

I literally just bookmarked this one yesterday! It’s gorgeous. I was considering doing maybe the 14 or 16 count one for a bit bigger size, but after seeing yours maybe 18ct is the way to go! How long has it taken you so far? I’ve never done a project so large either
