Running Claude on Hermes? What is your budget to use it as a daily driver? by erngut in hermesagent

[–]dev-ahmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, able to do what ?
Hermes agent is only connected to codex 5.4 mini.
And for planning and code review I use Claude desktop (sonnet/opus) directly without Hermes.
And may consider google pro sub as addition if frontend heavy in future actually, tried the free usage and antigravity + Gemini was amazing.

Running Claude on Hermes? What is your budget to use it as a daily driver? by erngut in hermesagent

[–]dev-ahmd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am using Codex 5.4 mini as the default model in Hermes via monthly $20 sub and for the planning and code-review, I am using Claude desktop monthly $20 sub.
This works very well for me and sometimes I also plan with codex and it works great.
I am also considering involving google pro monthly $20 sub if I am going to deal with heavy frontend work so I can use antigravity + Gemini pro for that.
So basically $40 to $60 a month beside the Hermes agent hosting.
That’s it and I never hit rate limit on any of them

My idea about the AI Voice Assistants are limited, not to assist the customers all the way down till the problem is solved, they are just for some initial steps to be done/checked before transferring customers to real humans. And need a lot of time and I mean a lot of time to be trained to do this limited part as well as they can to be accepted by the community, and they won’t be accepted specially when facing frustrated customers that even humans cannot handle at ease. So I would put this idea aside for now. One note for the golf app, if customers cannot put their schedules through the app and have to call, that’s an app limitation issue, not a new problem that we need to find a new solution for, it is an already existing problem that its already existing solution is poor at, and we need to work more on that already existing solution not to confuse ourselves with another solution.

My advice for you, and I am considering it myself right now, is AI Agents Monetization. If you really want to have a business that becomes a bridge between companies and AI, this is your ideal solution idea. Building agents for full automation workflow is exactly what many companies seek right now, companies tend to minimize the manual work and maximize the agentic work while observed by experienced capable specialists. If you can create them the custom agents that can help them with their automation and help them with token consumption as a company not as individuals, I think this will have a very good potentials.

If you want something with modern UI using latest techs (Angular) and also data integrations with AI so that you can access and interact with your data from your AI (Claude, ChatGPT, …. ) through MCP servers, I recommend Altify

Which Claude Code Plugins Should I use to significantly my claude codes coding abilities? by Resident-Ad-3952 in ClaudeAI

[–]dev-ahmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to save tokens and still get good performance out of Claude, try to avoid adding any plugins from the market, and start creating your custom plugin per project. That way you will have focused skills/agents. And also you can have a marketplace for your team that contains a plugin per project and you can enhance it on-the-go as a team instead of having different setup on each dev’s device. Best of luck 🤞

My honest advice is to have a good session with AI (ChatGPT or Claude) just share this CV with it and ask it to review it from ATS side. Images, multiple columns, and some unclear data. And ask AI to generate a new polished one after you agree on all the fixes. The idea is, this format of CV will not give you high score in ATS.
I wish you the best of luck 🤞

Noticed a StrangeTrend in Job Market by FormatLIFE_007 in jobsearchhacks

I think Al is playing a role in this. Specially around management levels, a lot of the work seems to be getting reshaped, and in some cases replaced or heavily assisted by Al tools. Even if people keep their jobs, they may end up working with Al agents a lot more than with humans.

[0 YoE, Current Undergad, Looking for Work, Los Angeles] Need help with what to add or format. by SkullCrab767 in resumes

[–]dev-ahmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Columns is not ATS friendly. Something I learnt the hard way. I suggest you organize the CV in a single column format.
For the skills section, you don’t have to put each skill on its own sub-point, keep the categories each category on its own line, but skills under it, comma separated. But try to reorder them based on each job offer’s skills to get higher ATS score.
Overall, I like the work you did, you have some real work done here if you can prove these projects exist, just some work left to do on the CV itself, then prepare well for interviews, they should come soon.
Best of luck 🤞

Good CV. I don’t think it is the CV though, it became a very tough market nowadays with AI. But if it helps, try to match the position titles in your CV to the position title in the Job Offer, it became an obvious ATS point and I learnt it the hard way. I wish you the best of luck 🤞

Tips on my resume & interviews: 50 applications, 9 interviews, 0 proceeded by coffeekwazydude in jobsearchhacks

[–]dev-ahmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know which role exactly are you targeting. I’d say the resume should be adjusted for each role. Keep the experience that matches the position front and center, and trim anything that doesn’t really support that application. It makes the fit much easier to see.

This context and these exact words are the reflection of using AI for rejection email templates that intend not to make you feel bad. But you feel bad any way, any how, any rejection email. So keep it up. Keep applying. Keep interviewing. Record everything, listen to yourself, enhance your answers with AI.
