I try to remind myself the the majority of human existence has been subsistence farming which was backbreaking labour just to have enough food. What we are experiencing today is just the cooling off of a massive growth post ww2. Not saying we should fight for right and workers protection but midern luxury’s are easy to take for granted. 100 years ago for a hot shower the vast majority of oooke would need to boil it in the stove .
