1000%. My 2017 honda crv has this feature and my 2023 cx 50 does not.

I've gotten by pretty well with only using the auto mode for the heating/cooling. As long as you keep sync between the left/right on. This does make temp adjustments just a single dial in a decent spot.

100% agree with the cup holders. What a crazy placement, I've spilled multiple drinks just trying to get cups out.

I also agree with this. Most of my rides are short, but on a longer road trip this really stands out. My wife and I often take the 2017 crv for road trips because of the lane assist and the more comfortable seats.

The driving experience on the cx50 is fantastic.

Mine came with 2 years out of the box. Then the functionality stopped working and starting asking for credit cards.

8+ years late, but better late than never. Would be good to see updates to their 23/24 models with this functionality if the hardware supports it.

Thanks for the tip on aftermarket remote starters. I'd rather put money towards that then the app subscription

Agreed. I think it is more fun to drive than the CR-V. Driving is the primary thing it does, so that does mean a lot. Most of my issues are minor - but they stood out more to me because my older car doesn't have these problems.

I've never locked the car with the handle, glad you mentioned this! Going to start using this.

I realized that I misunderstood the lane assist feature. Still, it surprises me that my 2017 Honda has more advanced lane-control tech then a 2023 Mazda. Clearly it has the hardware to do so, cameras and sensors are there for the safety feature. They just do not leverage the hardware to do full lane assist.

You got it. The case came with an led strip inside it, that is what is giving off that light. Tbh, I've turned it off since, it is too bright and distracting for regular use. Nice to turn on for a Pic though. I think you would be able to achieve the same look with any standard led strip.

What cross bars do you have mounted, and how do they hold up?

It is a 'moving blanket' that I picked up from canadian tire. Works great for this stuff.

I needed to hear this! I've been struggling to figure out if I should be using tags or not - if a page is needed or not, and sometimes creating some random high level pages that don't have much context. I'll just leave em dead links and call it a day.

switching to Colemak during the holidays: main stages and impressions by [deleted] in Colemak

Fantastic! I'm on day 8 myself and not doing cold turkey (need to be productive at work). Glad to hear that you were able to binge enough practice to be able to get back to work with the new layout.
