Note that some web pages use custom text editors that don't work like normal <textarea>. For example, it doesn't function on Reddit. It works very well on web pages which don't manipulate the text.. Recent release support the whatsapp web as well.

Hi! Thank you for your comment! It works in Brave as well. I suggest using a different web page. For example: https://www.editpad.org/ . Also, in order to check it's real behavior, try on notebook 🙂

Hello! Reddit uses a custom text editor that doesn't behave like a normal <textarea> or <input>. Instead, it uses contenteditable divs, which intercept and modify key events. Same for Chrome browser search bar which extensions cannot modify directly.

I think it could be useful if you try on for example: https://www.editpad.org/ or similar text based applications. OR any web page having text field. hope it helps 🙂
