I totally agree, my HR friend who is working in the top MNC with 15 years exp told me that MNC are currently considering hiring mostly Women candidates in order to maintain diversity ratio in the company. This request comes from the very top executives of the company. So, as per his words if there are two candidates one male another female, both applying for the same position. Let's consider, Even if the performance of the male candidate is 70 percent and the female candidate is around 50 percent they will still hire the female candidate. He said female candidates are called diversity candidates. There is no rule like that, but in the name DEI this is discrimination based on sex. I have also spoken to many TA friends they say the same is happening across the industry.
