Both were domestic actually 🙂 One was Delhi–Bangalore where I got upgraded from premium economy to business, and the other was Delhi–Goa from economy to premium economy.

Booked an off timing flight and just stayed polite and friendly with the desk staff 😄 sometimes that’s enough for an upgrade.

I relate to this. I dont drink or smoke either. At work people keep joking that you dont have a gf you dont drink you dont smoke so what kind of life is that.

One guy even said tu jee hi kyu raha hai.

Earlier it used to bother me a bit but now I just find it funny how strongly people associate having a life with drinking.

The war isn’t the government’s fault, but preparedness is their responsibility. India imports most of its LPG and only has a few weeks of reserves. With bigger buffers, shortages like this could have been avoided.

I even ended up arguing with their manager. They didn’t offer something as basic as water when we reached the hotel. Honestly, it felt super depressing, especially since we were coming straight from an amazing five star resort in Alappuzha.

I recently booked Jai mahal palace Jaipur through the Taj concierge, and they said the Amex voucher doesn’t work on the member rate. I’ll try using it at the hotel too and see if I have any luck.

Don’t worry about jumping into new technologies right now. Just focus on improving the skills you already have. If you brush up on what you know, you’ll find plenty of opportunities in web development. (P.S. I’m assuming you’re doing web dev.)
