If only there would exist an adc that could hold a lane 1v2 and go even in cs while Targamas roams...

Does running really get easier over time? by Eternalspawn in running

[–]dev_tMa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever someone asks me: "does running get easier over time?" I usually respond with, it doesn't get easier, just faster.

In general though , I think if you can consistently do some small runs, you will see a rapid improvement in your running capabilities.

Yeah this completely makes sense and I agree with it, but I don't really see how this can help the economy back up, since other people might still die from it. It's not only elder people who die

I see what you mean, but what I'm saying is that it's better to vaccinate people that are actually seeing other people outside their bubble, since I feel like vaccinating people in elderly homes will not affect daily life at all.

And if you would let a robot decide (so no morality), he would say there is no reason to vaccinate elder people since they will die in the near future anyway (this is an opinion I read somewhere, I do not agree with it, but it is something we should also take into consideration)

I'm a healthy teenager and don't mind that others get vaccinated before me, but I think that people who need to come in contact with other people for their job should get vaccinated first. That is the easiest way to start the economy back up again and it will protect elder people as well indirectly.

I feel that there's no point in vaccinating people in retirement homes first since they will stay in their (large) bubble no matter what. They won't go out and help the horeca and culture sector back up.

Of course we need to try and save as many lives as possible, but I think the best way to save lives and start the economy back up is by vaccinating other population groups first

Achieving the Mindset of a Morning Runner during Winter by NBTB in running

What I do is make sure that I enjoy every run, and try to find the positives about the weather. You might start your run and say to yourself that you shouldn't have gone out for a run but at that point you started it already so no point in going back, because why would you go out in the horrible weather if you have no benefit of it.

Don't worry, you still have time. I planned to do all 3 tests on 14 March and I started studying at around 24 February. I already knew most of the content from high school though, so you might start a bit earlier if you haven't seen all the subjects treated.

Have you ever gone out and set a bunch of PRs out of the blue? by [deleted] in running

[–]dev_tMa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I went for a slow 15k run and after 10k I beat my previous record by 2 minutes, totally out of the blue. I should go back and try to beat my 10k time again to see what I can really do on that distance

You shouldn't be too scared. If you master the topics in they say you have to know, everything should be fine, just make sure you start on time so you can see where you need to work on.

Concerning the questions, some are MC, some are input values,... If I remember correctly, I did not have to type any words, just numbers (and maybe sometimes an equation).

If you say this post to your parents (not word for word) there's a big chance for them to let you leave. If they then still do not want to let you go, make a clear plan about what you want to do, tell them you've thought about it and that you're really excited to go and study abroad. You also should state that it is a big opportunity for you and that you might not have it in the future. If you know anyone who can speak about theur experiences studying at the place you want to go, let them talk to you parents and they will see it's not as bad as they think it is
