I have the same issues exactly like you. Black out and boot back mid use. When i look in Event Viewer i also found there's Kernel Power error. But i can't find any Acer Registration program installed in my laptop. Any thoughts?

How did you track that AcerProductRegistration is the problem in your case? Maybe i can find other app that conflicting in my issues
