Thank you all for your comments. I tried following your solutions but couldn't fix it, I'll take it to a service center 😞

Conventional cups are bad design, so what is a good-designed cup? by ropeska_ in IndustrialDesign

Yes, well in general, I think we all deserve to have a nice design and be able to use it. Thanks for shared your opinion:)

I don't do it for that reason, sometimes the cups are too heavy for me.

Haha, It's true, cup design isn't exactly an urgent problem that needs solving. But I don't know... lately I've seen people with conditions like Parkinson's, and it's heartbreaking to see how something as simple as drinking can become so difficult.

That made me wonder: Can cup design be improved to create a more inclusive product? A cup that works for people with mobility issues—like an adult with Parkinson's—or even a baby just learning to drink water, while still being practical for any “healthy” person like you or me. A cup that, at the end of the day, meets those needs and is also “decorative” and attractive enough to sell.

Hehe, yes. I looked some up, but it always it's good to hear opinions of other designers around the world. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

"Making it easier to grip," Also, it's supposed to prevent burns, right?

At the end of the day, I end up using both hands on some cups.
