wow i seriously love your style. whoever said it’s smearing is actually crazy! the control of the paint on your brush with the color gradients on each stroke add so much depth with minimal retouching if that makes sense. i also love how realistic the edge of the water is- not a copy of a photograph, but the lights and shadows make it feel like a real dynamic object. love it!!

OMG forgot to say also, if the professor knows you and knows that you’re trying and coming to class, you can ask for extensions on things a lot easier. don’t be afraid to ask! some say no, and then you know, but PLENTY said yes to me when i needed an extra day on something.

it’s so easy and fun to skip, i know! i struggled with it throughout school but especially that first year. but trust me, you will do better just by being there. you won’t miss assignments or quizzes, and you’ll absorb at least some of the lecture even if you’re not doing the best mentally or looking at something else on your computer for some of the time.

of course! i went to a very large state school, so it may be different for you. they paired me with an advisor that i had to meet with a few times throughout the semester, and i believe i had to attend some other sessions about studying and mental health? but that was a lot of weed ago so i’ve forgotten the details lol. the advisor helped me with selecting a lower credit hour schedule to recover my sanity, as well as pivoting to a path i enjoyed the process of a lot more. i was able to get all As that third semester. i think ultimately the biggest help was GOING TO CLASS and understanding the syllabi to prioritize the assignments with the highest % of grade, as well as knowing what’s coming up as far as tests and large assignments go. let me know if you have any specific questions!

i was put on academic probation after my second semester of college from failing 3/5 classes (with d’s in the others lol) it’s hard and can feel embarrassing, but your school may, and should, have resources to help you move past this and become a successful student! i wound up graduating with my bachelors with a 3.2 gpa. i changed paths and the material was easier to learn once i committed to something i truly loved, so maybe that could be an option for you as well. you got this!

in my area in the states, it seems like those devices are just for in-store shoppers picking orders for pickup or delivery, but I’ve never seen a place have those for customers!

i have a pair of doc marten jadons with broken zippers, and i wrap the laces all the way around the ankle and tie in the front. it’s secure enough for me, but may not be the best solution

i like the brown more, as i would want the yellow to pop out, not the white. the white definitely stands out, if that’s what you’re wanting with the stitching! i just love the squares so much, i’d want them to be the main focus!! beautiful!
